KH2:FM Secret Ending Vid (http://www.gametrailers.com/umwatcher.php?id=52976)
So, it appears only one of the armored unknowns is somebody we know:
Roxas
The man that was walking in the distance appears to be a bald version of Xeanhort.
Mickey has the star seeker >_>
So the two unknowns left are blue haired girl and brown haired man.
Let ideas circulate :D
-
pretty.. but mickey looks ghey..
-
Wow... "Ansem" is starting to look a lot like Andross from Starfox... And since when did ice magic get so overpowered?
Well, we might just have to wait for Square to finish this game...
It will take some time though.
So... FFXIII, KHIII and MGS4 to the PS3, gotta buy one soon then.
And yes, Mickey has never looked good in Fmv, thatīs why they only have one in the beginning of the game and one in the end heh.

A) Learn how to spell 'secret.'
B) This is the video at the end of KH2: Final Mix+. I'm sure most of us have seen the movie at the end of the original KH2.

Maybe they're trying to make it more fantasy then disney? Or maybe they think special effects will get more people's attention. :corn:

I know he's not dead, it just sucks that he got his *** handed to him.

I wanted to play as Roxas full-time in 2. He was less of a lameass than Sora. There was still a lameass element to him.. but it was you know, less glaring..
Anyways the gameplay actually suffered in that game, the TRIANGLE IS REACTION thing was done so shitfully.
You could have triangle on autofire and get them all, because it didn't matter if you got it too early or hit it 10 times

A. I spelled it like that on purpose.
B. What means "Final Mix +"?

Heard they were making an english version, but I could be wrong.
-
You're wrong.
In Japan, KH didn't have the Sephiroth fight and some other stuff.
So they made Final Mix, which was KH with that fight and a bunch of extras.
I guess they did the same thing for KH2, even though the NA version didn't have any perks this time around afaik
-
FM+ Also has Re:CoM
3D Version of Chain of Memories . . . ^_^
Wish I had a mod chip for my PS2 >_>

Total agreeness here.
They should've done the reaction thing like God of War or RE4. Also, they should take out everything final fantasy and disney related.

kingdom hearts (and disney >_>; my mom's a real disney fan. I used to live in disney snow globe universe. . . . ) are overrated.
-
Disney is not overrated. It's pretty much the best kiddy company out there. It appeals to both the younger generations and grownups with children, which is different from things like Barney and ect. that only appeal to the child.

My excuse is that KH has a failed mix of RPG and action, a clunky story filled with teen angst and Disney morals that make me want to vomit, and a premise of "Let's take Square Enix and Disney's most popular characters and try too cook up some convoluted setting where they can interact with each other."
-
Well, I hope that FFXIII will get the improved battle system and fill up where the KH series are missign stuff, sure Iīm tired of having to see Goofy's face everywhere I turn and have to meet up with som horrible Disney characters but thatīs Kingdom hearts...
If I just want an awsome story and great gameplay I might as well just wait.
-
Everyone shut up and go play this.

In the meantime, LEAVE ME ALONE WITH MY DISNEY! Remember, they came up with the idea in the first place. ;)
I do agree about the Roxas and Reaction thing though.

OLD Disney was good. But this new Disney stuff is almost completely remakes or crappy sequels.
Now I liked KH and I liked KH2, even if it was for the flashy moves. But if you take notice, KH2's story is quite a bit darker than ligh-hearted KH1. But I don't really care about any game as long as its fun.
-
KH2 just made the story more complex. It wasn't a bad game, I will admit the action commands were gay, and the tournament wasn't nearly as good as the original. Also, I didn't like playing as Roxas... he pissed me off.

Agree'd.
Did I just say that? Anyways, KH pisses me off because they could have easily made up their own characters but chose to use Disney.
As for Disney itself, it sucks because Michael Eisner is CEO. Will Eisner was genious, as was Walt who managed to raise the respectable Roy Disney, but Michael is just an ***.

Duh. Walt is dead.
-
uhm Aladdin and Hercules are great movies and they came out after that racist bastard died
the movies suck because michael eisner owns disney
-
I know that the disney and FF characters in the game was a little gimmiky, and the game would probably be quite a bit better without them, but it at least is a fun game that can appeal to all ages.
And if this series was made by Disney alone, it would be incredibly terrible. At least be thankful that Square is doing this series.
And by old disney, I meant anything before 1995. After that, it just went downhill.
-
Apparently I'm the only one here who didn't like Disney ever no matter who owned it. Maybe Duck Tales, but that's about it.

That statement is so aggravating. I hate people who constantly whine about things being overrated, and using that as an excuse not to like them, I mean that's just plain stupidity. Have you ever stopped to wonder why Final Fantasy VII is overrated? Because it's a great game, and it was the first Final Fantasy that allot of people played. It was a top notch game, that still sort of holds up it's own by todays standards, just like classics such as Aladdin and Lion King. Saying something is overrated, and refusing to do/play/watch it for that stupid reason, makes it seem like your standing off to be different and cool, which is a huge sign of being a dumb *** in my book.
I've always liked Kingdom Hearts, since it came out (after a while it got a little irritating, but that feeling went away when I saw the trailer for the second one.) and I don't see a single thing bad about it. Sure it's a somewhat cheesy concept, but for the game-play alone, it stands off as a pretty neat game. Sure it has its cheesy parts and tacked on feelings (The whole gummi-ship area in the first one.) but what games don't? Every game you play you are going to find something wrong with it, but you might as well enjoy it for what it is. Creative, Nostalgic, a new way of doing something old and fun to play. The only real problem I see with the franchise, is that it's WAY to easy. But they want to make this game accessible to younger audiences too so it's understandable. (Although Hard mode could have been more challanging... XP)

The Frog Prince
*DUN DUN DUN!!!!!!

You know what the reason for people to hate KH2 was?
When you have to return to 'that' world and do a 'certain minigame' that involved 'bad music' and 'button timing'. Then, it continued for several chapters because you needed to upgrade your magic for inane reasons.
I think I have described 'that world' in an understandible way without giving spoilers.

That is what a little brother or sister is for.

Just pointing out that even though that guy looks like Roxas, and there are some similarities of the characters in that trailer to the previous KH peeps; the creator of the series has said that none of the people in that ending/intro video are from the previous KH games. So, blonde guy isn't Roxas, the chick isn't Kairi, the evil dude isn't Ansem/Xehanort, and none of them are Sora. If I remember correctly, KH 3 takes place before both KH 1 and 2. It involves some kind of war or something, I think it was called the keyblade war. But yeah, the trailer looks really cool, I might just have to get a PS3 (seeing as that's what it'll come out for) just to play it. Hopefully this one won't take 5 years to be released though. >_<
-
They need to... like... make a 2D game for the ps3.
That would.. you know... piss people off.
-
If it is a prequel, it can't be Roxas anyways. Roxas wasn't created until late KH1.

I agree, sometimes when I go to my friends who got like three younger brothers they always watch a channel known as the disney channel, and seriusly, it suck. I canīt believe how that crap can even be permitted to reach todays kids...
And no, I donīt think that this is like something that has happened earlier, they seem to high tech with overpowered ice magic that actually freezes you... And that guy looks alot like Roxxas, might even be him... But the other two? No idea...
-
I was wondering.
Tidus was based on the memories of the planet or whatever crap they invented for him, and Shuyin, who actually really existed, looked just like Tidus. So basically, Tidus was based on Shuyin.
So, what if Square-Enix rebuilt on that idea? Basically, in anime and other kinds of crap they create there, the daughter always looks like the mother, and the son always looks like the father.
What if these three were the ancestors of our current heroes, or at least their spirits passed over on our current heroes?
Oh, and people who have a dislike for Disney, GTFO plx.

The flaw in your argument is that this was a really stupid plot development and completely isn't worth thinking about.
-
I heard that they are making a KH movie, and that they will censor all of the disney characters killing the heartless.

You never know... they could mind**** the story line some more.

Stupid or not, it still doesn't make it a flaw. Not just Japanese, but even American and European cartoon writers make use of this.
For example, the Power Rangers had one episode where Kimberly got sent back in time, and where she faught alongside the ancestors of her companions. In the end the White Stranger (ancestor of Tommy) helped them out to battle evil.

Didn't they do something like that in xenogears with elly and fei?
-
I would but KH3 if it had a Toy Story world in it.....or a Darkwing Duck world.....or a Gargoyles world....
-
Normally I'm against Kingdom Hearts, period, end of story.... but holy crap, I would so put up with Sora for a Darkwing Duck world! Or maybe Sora will explode and they'll stop renaming characters and Square will start having a soul again................... *pokes recent Squenix games with stick*
I'll keep dreaming.
As for the whole Roxas thing.... like the Tidus/Shuyin thing, it was more of an "Oh look, we're making money, let's add a character with a nonsensical connection! Hoorah!" Roxas was not preplanned or nothin'. Square did this with a couple of its FFVII spinoffs (i.e. the entirety of Dirge of Cerberus), and consistency is a totally foreign concept to them. Don't think about it too much. Contrary to popular belief, KH is not a conspiracy.
BTW, don't whine at me for not liking KH as much as you. It had a great storyline that was hampered by too many gimmicks, and that will always be my opinion. Does that make me a KH storyline but not gimmickyness fan? Hmmm.
