I've been working on my game in RPG Maker 2000 (haven't gotten terribly far, but don't want to restart). Is there any way to easily convert it to RM2K3 or XP? I'm beginning to hate the battle system in 2K (meh.... I wanna SEE my people kill stuff >: ) and have realized that nobody really uses 2K anymore (that I know of).

You can naturally convert it to 2K3, however the only way to get it to XP is to restart it.

Do I just move it to the different project folder? I really want to use the battlechars and all........ do all my other resources work?

If you want to convert an rm2k game to an rm2k3 game just open it in rm2k3. You'll have to remake the battles and build all that crap in there. If you dont have much in your game, it's probably easier to just start from scratch in rm2k3. Also, as soon as you test play the game or save the game when its open in rm2k3, you CANNOT use it in rm2k again, so you'll probably want to keep a back up of your project so that if something goes wrong in 2k3, you can still use it in 2k.
