Title: The error of doom >_<

How do I fix this? And what may have caused this?

The picture isn't fully loading for me, what exactly is your problem?

EDIT: Never mind, it shows up now.

Now, what exactly is a .pas?

Edit: post keeps getting cut off. Idk what that type of file is either of if it's a file type at all.

While I was working on a map, I wanted to make an event on the map above it, so I scrolled up one map and I got that error.

I clicked ok and the box came up again immediately after, this error repeated itself maybe 6 times in a row before it let me back into RM2K3 then it would happen again any time I clicked or did anything on the map ID code: 0073. The next day (today) I turned my computer on and tried again, the same thing happened but now I cannot access "anything" inside RM2K3 that has to do with mapping, I can edit events and work in the database, but I cannot change the map in any way, I can't even change the view. Nothing aside from the events and database will work. >_<;

Ok, go into your game folder, and delete that map, then delete that chipset in your chipsets folder. It looks like its the wrong file format for rm2k3. And sometimes if something is the wrong format, it can cause an error like that. I remember I tried importing a wma into my game (i renamed it to a .mp3) and I got a simular error.

Ok will do, this is trange though because I've been working with that chipset all week and havn't had any problems with it.

However I would like to say this though, 2 nights ago my computer froze when I was mapping the map shown in the screenshot and when I opened RM2K3 back up I had lost that map completely. Now the map is gone and it's blank just like previously, I find it strange that I cannot do anything with the base program itself right now as you can see from the screenshot below, all the tools are grayed out, and there is no avalible chipset. I think what happened was when I lost that map, I also lost something in the RM2K3 system too which caused some serious internal problems. This didn't start becoming a problem til my computer froze.

Try reinstalling rpg maker. If that doesn't work, make a new project, and copy rpg_rt.exe from the new project and paste it over the one in your project.

^Was gonna sugest that also. It seems like rpgmaker is the problem now. I had never heard of an error like this before.

Reinstalled RM2K3 it cleared up this issue, thank you. :)
