Post by: Vidian on May 07, 2007, 01:31:23 AM
If I could find out how to convert pictures to 256 color with photoshop,
Or better yet: Make it in 256 color With photoshop, I could start making some good looking chip sets.

Try doing this in Paint.

Open a picture, save it as a 256 bitmap, then save it again as a .png for size reasons. Then you've got a 256 image.

The problem is Paint screws up most images when it saves them as 256. I recommend using other programs.
