I'll Be Posting Them In A Day Or Two.

ps.please dont claim them as your own i put alot of work into these for you's guys to use.

Post by: game_maniac on May 12, 2007, 08:58:55 PM: ^Crap, meant to say MC, but for some reason it came to my head as "Minish Mask" (hence MM). I enjoyed MC, but it was too short, and I would've prefered to see Lttp-styled sprites instead of WW-style. Fat Link ftl.

On a pointless note, I don't think I've ever used so many Zelda abbreviations in one post.

RPG Maker isn't illegal unless you download it from an unauthorized website. If you buy the japanese original version, and patch it with an english translation, it's as legal as can be as far as I know.

Emulators aren't illegal, ROMs are. If you use an emulator to play homebrew, you're doing nothing wrong.

Guess I'm bringing an old ressurection back from the dead.

Good job with the rips btw.

this is the link where a simmilar discussion started, and my zelda rips are inside.

For the fiftieth time, RPG Maker is legal if you don't download it from a website but rather purchase it, emulators are perfectly legal, taking pictures from said emulators is perfectly legal, the only illegal thing it playing a commercial ROM you downloaded - for all intents and purposes he could have made his backups himself. I've said this kinda crap a billion times, why won't you people listen?! >_<

well i already new the rom was illegal, someones already told me

so why dont yous take it out on another thread

Well, the sprites overlap for one thing.

Also, it's not in 256 colors, so people won't be able to use it without converting.

why?so no one cant really claim as there's and when people go to use them cant cause they tryed to steal it.

Ripping from an emulator, as opposed to playing the console game, taking photos of the screen, and then ripping the sprites from the photos.

Lol, randomer.

Anyway, your rips are pretty good. You've put plenty of effort into them. The only criticism I have (And this is only personal opinion, mind) is to put more sprites in one charset. It bugs me slightly to see 250 charsets, each containing 4 or 5 sprites. It's cool that you're eager to rip, but c'mon, put more in one charset.

Anyway, keep it up. :Plight:
