Title: Charas 3.0 Development Underway!
Post by: Osmose on May 14, 2007, 08:38:26 PM: The new server is finally set up and we have begun working on implementing all the changes proposed for Charas 3.0. It's going to be awhile, but we finally can actually start work on it.

What does this mean to you? Nothing around here will change, because we are still located on the Ombra server. What will happen is that, over the summer, we will work on the new server and have Staff and possibly some lucky members test out new features as we add them. The key difference is that because we're working on it now we can give you a better idea of when it will get done: I'd like to predict by the end of the summer, but I am going off to college and have a lot of stuff to do before then, and Gary has to pass his current year of college, so it's still up in the air.

No matter what happens, at least one fix will find it's way in - I've already gotten it to go to the last post in a thread after making a new post to it. :P

You were talking about awards before. I think the drunkduck award system is a lot of fun and fairly simple. You have an award section in your profile (not included by the side of each post) and awards appear there as you achieve certain things. Members can click on your avatar and get transported to your profile and see how many awards you've got.
