It is more understandable that they remade the first games but those two were meh. Crystal was the first with real animations and colors or something like that huh? That deserves to be its own catagory-thingy-thing...
Umm, I never got Aeroblast with my Lugia, got it at lvl 70 or something and he learns it at 50 so no aeroblast for me, only way to see aeroblast fro me is SuperSmash really...

Nah nintendo shouldn´t do this, make a RPG or something instead... A story-like rpg not "be the best trainer and love your pets and the nature". I donno...Sleepy anyway....

Oh, and my friend Nesbitt, who also answeres to Stupid or Dumbass Fag, plays Pokemon, is 18, and lives with his parents, but now pays rent to stay in his room. And this is what I associate Pokemon with. Not the most flattering image out there, is it?

And I have a friend who is 23, has his own place, is about as sharp as a spoon and plays pokemon avidly. Playing pokemon, or any game, has no correlation to any other aspect you listed. What if he played Halo instead? That game actually requires LESS brain usage than pokemon.

I actually had the same thought, but I don't care either way to figure it out. But there are some areas of discrepency.

Can't the DS play game boy color games? Because if they can, you're just better off buying an original gold and silver on eBay for five bucks.

Personally I like Pokemon. It's a fun little RPG, no different from Final Fantasy or The Elder Scrolls. Unlike a lot of RPGs though, the battles in the game are well thought out. Its fun. As long as you don't spend every waking minute on a game, there's nothing wrong with what you play.

I can see what you mean, but I've never liked the idea of buying every single Pokemon game. I usually wait for the longest one. Except for Crystal that's why I have Yellow, Gold, and Emerald. I like this idea because these are guaranteed to be long. They'll have the 16 gyms, over 400 Pokemon, plus the sidequests and battle mechanics from the newer games.

Edit: One more thing, they probably use remakes to train those new to the company.

I think I'm gonna buy Gold when it comes out.

It wasn't until Generation 3 (Ruby and Sapphire) that they made a standard format for Pokemon that allows for trading between older and newer generations. Now the games are built to handle Pokemon from any of the games except for the first two generations.

But gold and silver were ****ing awesome for their time. I loved them when they came out and still do, so good. By far the best pokemon games, and if they add ALL pokemon to these and let you go to kanto and maybe the newer places, and let you do all the neat new things they came up with, this game would pwn everything.

Too bad I dont' have a DS... =(

Remember that these things to start out as photoshops (or whetever, probably some other program). With non-crisp images, it's anyone's game.

I believe that shiny Mews are blue.

In fact, all of the Pokémon already have shiny states, this isn't going to be adding that to the franchise.

Nah but exept for FF-something for the SNES Pokemon was the first RPG I played and also the first RPG I owned and finished so it got it´s special spot in my heart.

And by having a familly with a caravan you usually are dragged around half of the world so a Pokemon game is awsome during those times, just to bad we wont get Pearl and Diamond here till the 27july and I´m leaving the 9th... But I got FFIII instead, got some high expections of it now.

In order for it to work they'd have to up the limit to 200 or something.

Oh and remind me to pass a vote making Rickrolling, Duckrolling and any other form of rolling a bannable offense or something. That **** belongs on 4chan or one of the lesserchan boards.

Good point. While looking for a way I can toy (mod) around with Pokemon Red, I saw some pretty convincing covers of fake pokemon games (quartz, black, and opal.) I knew they were fake, but the boxes looked pretty real. (Besides, the one on Chaos Black is Chaos from Sonic o.O)

Chances are this (shiny gold and shiny silver) is a fake image.

Not necessarily. They could just make you use a new team whenever you start a new area, up until you beat the Elite 4 or something. It would suck, yeah, but there's really no other way (without increasing the level limit, which they probably won't do).

I've seen those. I was always skeptic about them, but some of the clever tiny covers, would make me doubt my skepticness. It was when I actually saw the larger version where I realized it was all fake.

This is why rickrollin has became quite trendous; even the ones who've done fall for it.

I looked into it a bit more... as in googled it.
