Title: Sega Channel
Post by: Apex on June 18, 2007, 12:27:25 AM: Did anyone else have this awesome service? I remember when it first came out, it was the greatest thing of all time.

For those of you who do not know what Sega Channel was, check out this Wiki page.

Absolutely awesome. The main office was near Denver, so our access was almost instant.

My favorite games for it were...

Mortal Kombat 3
Megaman: The Wily Wars (Megaman I II and III compilation.)
Shining Soul II
Phantasy Star IV
Earthworm Jim
Earthworm Jim 2
My Crystal Pony Adventure
Art Alive
Ballz
And a few others..

Post by: Apex on June 18, 2007, 06:39:10 PM: Back when I was very young, that game was awesome! So awesome that I played it again last night... Man brings back the memories. You get to make your own Pony, and rescue the other ones, who were imprisoned by the evil Warlock guy, who used magical crystals to trap them. You had to collect the gems by completing random tasks, and collecting horseshoes and keys to unlock doors and chests. Truly a masterpiece in it's time.

Don't you dare bad talk Sega Genesis.

Anyone wanna donate a Sega Something and some games to me?

Sonic and Knuckles.... some dumb-as-all-getout Sonic spinoff games.... and some idiotic cartoon games that my brother refuses to let me sell.
You know what was awesome for the Genesis? Ristar. Ristar was so badass.

That's what I get for having a four year old brother........ However, Ristar, Sonic (whatever one I have, I can't remember) and Sonic and knuckles were some pretty good games, and the only three I have that aren't in the basement. Which flooded.

Ristar rocked, I still remember the boss theme vividly, and not to mention most of the bosses. Games like that, and Dynamite Headdy, Gunstar Heros and all the Sonics are what made Sega Genesis extremely bad ***.

BOTH of those games were made by the same company, and Both are absolutely stunning in graphics quality. Both of them use such incredible optical trickery to make 2D Objects into these awesome and morphing 3D things.
