Title: FE-style faces for ES
Post by: Phayre on June 23, 2007, 12:04:23 AM
So I'm making custom playing cards for Ember Sky. Each one will have a Fire Emblem style face of one of the main characters on it. HEre's the first one. It's Caolan, if you care. His eyes might be a bit bright, I dunno. His shoulder's cut off a bit, because that's the way it'll look on the card.

Looks great.  ;)   The eyes and hair I particularly like, but otherwise, it's above average. (From what I've seen atleast.)

I thinks so. How can I fix the colors? What's wrong with them? Are they still too bright?

I disagree.  He has black hair so making all the black darker would worsen it, since, just that, he would have no contrasting colors.  The second I don't like so much, but it's still good.  The first is awesome.

The issue at hand with the last one is it only looks like there are two colors of black being used for shading. I know there are three, but the darker two are so similar that they blend into one.

Make one lighter and it should look better.

Ah, will do.
I might just give him different clothes, actually.
