Ok, Im not sure if this goes here, but I was wondering if anyone knows of a program that allows you to make online RPGs with RPG Maker 2k3.
If someone does know I would appreciate some info.
-
Sorry, making online RPGs with Rm2k3 is simply impossible.
That means it can't be done.
At all.

Try this. (http://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-US%3Aofficial&channel=s&hl=en&q=online+rpg+makers&btnG=Google+Search)

Ah I see, what about XP, I see some games made from it like Everlasting Online.
-
I expect you could probably make one with XP. The amount of work involved would probably be stupidly huge though. Use a Maker dedicated to making online games. It'll probably save you some work.
-
I suppose I can try one. Its to bad tho, I was hoping to do it with RPG Maker seeing as Im better with that. (Even tho Ive never completed an RPG.)
-
Try going to the rmxp site.
I hope you have a ton of free time to tackle such a huge task.
You've never finished a game and you wanna do this?
-
Well, the only reason I haven't finished a game is because I haven't had any story to go off of. With an online game I figured I really don't need to much of a story right away.
-
Online RPGs need a good storyline too, even in times when it's not 100% obvious what that story is. Nobody is going to want to play your Online RPG if the main object of the game is to "collect stuff and get stronger".
The storyline for an Online RPG doesn't need to be some epic masterpiece, but it does need to be enough to drive the player on.

You just summarized runescape in those few words.

I didn't actually mean to say that there doesn't need to be a storyline. I guess it doesn't really matter anyways cuz I can't even find a program. I'm just gonna stick with rm2k3 for now and work on getting everything down perfectly.

It's not a program you need it's a script... ask around on RMXP.org
someone will point you in the way.
There's is a few small programs... well just do it and you'll see..
