...Than an ordinary British citizen, as he's not Prime Minister any more.
Gordon Brown is.

So, how do you think the change-over will affect the issues we're dealing with at the moment, Iraq in particular? It's been pretty clear that the Iraq war has really been as much down to Blair's support as Bush's attitude.
I personally am skeptical about whether Gordon Brown will be able to do any better. He hasn't appeared to do anything spectacular or amazingly useful yet, in all the years he's spent as chancellor.
Meh. What are your thoughts?

Going down before Bush?
Cryptic.

Hmm.. I not sure. To be honest, I haven't been keeping up with world politics as much as I should. I've mainly settled for my own country's news.
However, I think with Iraq its lose lose either way. If Brown decides to exit, it could mean a backlash for the relaitonship of the United States and Britain but it would mean there troops are out instead of dieing AND possibly better relations with othe nations who feel indifferent about the Afghan and Iraq deployment. On the other hand, Brown may continue 'to fight the for the betterment' as they are too deep into the war and secondly their international friendship with countrys who find the 'War on Terror' positive (and whatever else Britian gain from it) too dear to lose.
I'm just speculating. As it is, I really don't know too much about British politics and the current state in Britain with their international situations.

The country was pretty much divided in their opinions of Blair. Half the country thought he'd been good, and the other half had hated him.
As far as I'm aware, Brown hasn't yet said anything about what he'll do about soldiers in Iraq. At least, nothing memorable and dramatic, so I assume he's not said anything to indicate either way.

I'm going to miss Blair.
He was on the Simpsons.

....and Blair falls down, down into the fiery pits of hell from whence he came.

You know, after that comment, I decided that I would find an image of Tony Blair, edit it to make him look like Satan, and then add an amusing caption. So off I jolly well popped to Google Images, where I proceeded to type in "Tony Blair", as the obvious keywords that would get me what I hoped was a decent image to use.
The first image result was this.

I honestly don't know what to say.
-
Do you think he likes sausages?
-
I think we did suspect something, yeah.
-
He has ceased to be!
...I'm shocked no one else said it, I mean the guy is English for crying out loud!
-
Looks like you don't even need an amusing caption, or some cheesy Satan joke...
