Man.... let me tell you. I loved that movie. =D
I wish there was a bigger final battle but I loved the movie.
Can't wait to see it again.

Here's the question that's been killing me for a while now: Does the movie focus on the Transformers themselves enough to please fans, or is it what some would expect (i.e. humans are the real center of the story and the Transformers just serve as a form of conflict)?

I'm kinda hoping the Transformers don't speak. (Sorry fans, but it would really ruin the movie for me, one of the non-fans...) I think I heard a snippet of Optimus speaking.

The movie bloody rocked. The only voice that bothered me was Jazz's voice, as it was not similar to the series.
i think in the movie it worked well that the transformers weren't the centre of the story. Alot of people I know have enjoyed the movie, and alot of them haven't been transformer's fans.

I recently saw the movie, and let me tell you:
*slap myself in the face* FREAKIN' AWSOME!!! Highly recomend it, and it sure as hell beats FF: Rise of the Silver Surfer (that movie was pure sh**)

It was alright. It was hard to either see anything because it was too dark or too bright. They turned the story into something really nice, but I'm still not much a fan of that type of movie, but it was still impressive for being a super hero (?) movie.
I give it a three out of five. :

I went into the theatre, expecting the worst movie of all time. But it was excellent. Mostly cause it was funny. They really did a good job out of something I expected to be terrible.

Just saw it. It wasn't quite as good as I expected, but the humour was unexpected (and they did a good job of it, too: the scene in the bedroom was one of the scenes that will stay with me for a while). And of course, giant robots beating each other was awesome, though there wasn't enough much Autobot-on-Decepticon action.
But definitely, it was awesome.

I went in, saw trough the whole movie, stepped out, and thought:
WHAT THE CRAP?!
Why did I even consider staying home?
Chances were I wouldn't be able to go because the cinemas could have been booked full, but luckily for me I got in.
I GOT IN!!!
And then the movie started. First, the Paramount logo came up, and everybody was like "WOOT!!!" and started applauding. It was the best thing that has ever happened in the cinemas.
Anyway, as time progressed the Dreamworks logo appeared, and it was like "WHOAH THE MOVIE IS STARTING!!!" and then the intro came, and then the Transformers logo passed by. BAM! And then there was this scene, which went like, WHOAH, and then it went like BAM and then the movie was over and everybody applauded and was stoked.
I dropped loads of Stokens, but they were all worth it. Go Michael Bay, go Transformers.

The movie was beautiful and the humor in it did own. Like when Bumble Bee pissed on that guy's head. XD
There was one thing I did not like... how Devastator wasn't multi Transformers and one that even made him was in the movie.
It was wrong how Jazz got killed <.<
There was a logical reason why Jazz talked the way he did though.
Like Optimus said.. They learned how to talk via the internet.
So he talked all "Urban" There was a ton of dirty fighting in it..
and from the ending of it.. there will be a number 2.

Transformers 2 has been confirmed. I have even read about a trilogy possibility.
Anyway, I was going to see this movie yesterday at the cinema, but I fell asleep. So I had to watch it online.
It just rocks. Made my skin all tingly.
It was definitly humorous, definitly robotic, defitly transformermastic.
They did focus more on humans than the roobots themselves, but I believe it didnt take all that much away from the beauty that was this movie.
Michael Bay really did agood direction; I liked a lot of the camera shots and epic battles scenes.. or at least the epic feeling.
It is now my favorite movie, and has succeded I, Robot.
Now I shall wait for RE3, RH3, Invasion, and I am Legend.

I am a sucker for american patrioism in movies. I get chikcen bumps when Bill Pullmans president leads the aerial assault against the aliens in "Independence day". But the dialog in "Transformers" sucks so badly, the characters are cliché stereotypes and the actors so bad that you wish for the evil robots to destroy every brat that yells "this is so not happening" or"we are so out of here".
Most of the intro parts- Like when a soldier waves at his newborn doughter through a webcam or the nerd who steals the hot chick from the huge footballguy - Could be used as reqruitment tapes for al-Qaida.
Sure, this is an action movie. And it is directed by Michael Bay, the king of brainless entertaining. But in earlier movies like "The rock", "The island" and "Armageddon" he did hire actors that gives the lines a kind of reliability. He doesn´t give a damn about that here, Maybe so that the robots will seem more alive. And unlike their partners in flesh and bone the 10 feet tall robothero Optimus Prime expresses his emotions worthy Meryl Streep.
The effects are awsome- of course. Trucks, helikopters and tanks transform into robots who beat eachother up. Half of Los Angeles is hammered to dust. But after two hours and twentythree minutes you still don´t care which group is going to win. And you still haven´t seen any mechinical wonder half as charming as the yellow automobile in "Herbie, fully loaded".

BEST MOVIE EVER.
Okay maybe not the best but it blew away the other blockbusters. Sure the plot was stupid, but why judge it? It was GORGEOUS.
What made it cool was that it was raining today, and a lot of St. Louis events were cancelled, so many people went to see it. I ended up meeting a lot people I know. People were APPLAUDING this movie.

The movie was pure awesome sauce.
There wasn't a part I didn't really like in the movie to be honest--I kinda lol'd when Jazz got ripped apart. :P
And for the sequel, I think I heard they're bringing in certain things--the Dinobots (YES), Soundwave, and something else, I can't remember.
To be honest, I want Galvatron in there. ;.;...

That's terrible. If the same CGI team made that as the one who made the movie, they really dropped the ball.
Seriously, it looks NOTHING like the other transformers, and consistency should be the first thing you notice.
Not saying it isn't a pretty piece of CGI, on the contrary, it looks great. It just doesn't look like Transformers.
Also, in the comments they point out fan-made.

Sorry everyone, despite my prior enthusiasm, it seems other Transfans have pointed out that that this and some of the Sector Seven 'secret surveillance' is very good fan made CGI, which kinda fits in with how it's all a bit out of sync with the movie. Not too sure now, sounds like a good explanation, LoL.
