Hey, all.
I'm starting the capital city, Arthei, for Ember Sky and I kind of want to have some important NPCs in the city. Not just like "Oh, welcome to Arthei, bla blah blah," but more like NPCs that have ties to the existing characters. Given that Christophe spent a few years living in Arthei and Arin, Lyra, and Athair have lived there and worked for the kingdom, it makes sense, and Caolan just attracts attention wherever he goes. I kind of liked the idea of adding Charas people to games, given all the help I've gotten here. So if you want an NPC, here's how:
Give me your char's name, relationship to which character, and a little personality for me to use in their speech. Many of these folks could become important for the story.
Some little notes:
-Arthei is home to a whole bunch of specialty shops, the royal castle of Marionna, Marionna's famed magic academy, and many other residents. Use these to put your character in if you like.
-Caolan did not attend the academy, so don't make like he did.
-Arin has no close friends save for Athair and has only been in Marionna for 2 years.
I'll take 2 for each existing character, yep.

Name: David?
Relationship: David met Christophe while running a shop for breads. He remembers him because he look a bit different from those around him. He decided to try and get to know him. After Christophe left, David became a bit sad that he never got to say goodbye.
Personality: David is outgoing, and remembers almost every person he has ever met. Sometimes he can get a little cocky though. He also loves to gossip and tell other stories about himself. He doesn't take to getting hurt too well... the last guy that tried to mug him ended up in a coma... O_o.
Good? Bad? Neither?
CHANGE IT. Better now?

I don't mean to be one of those guys who always gets on your back but does your post belong here? I suggest you move it becuse the admins can give you a real hard time.
Edit- Ah nvm I;m not on these forums much anymore and the rules are diffrent. sorry dude.

Other "be in my game" posts are here, so.... I dunno.
AFL, I don't like the name, and I'd prefer it if there were more connection, like he knew Christophe before he left for Talreye and gives him a hard time or whatever. I'm thoroughly against having mythological names in my stories, unless they're not well-known.

Sorry. I changed it. (I used Achilles because I barely thing of names for my own NPC's as it is).

Oh, I forgot to mention: you can also be one of Arthei's rabid anti-magic activists.

I'm in the process of completely redesigning my characters for my game. I might eventually post a character to use for a cameo. Anti-magic is a common theme between our games.

All right, AFL the bread man is in. Yaaaaaaay bread!
Another update: Arthei is also home to the kingdom's Elite, your typical awesome soldiers who everybody knows. You can be one of them, but you'll need a few more things. You need your weapon of choice, magic affinity if you have one, and your title (a word after your name, i.e. Arin the Shadowblade, Athair the Flameheart).
Also, if you have a charset you want used, ummm, post it.

here it is -- i got the bread from this chipset. Those were the only breads... :(
Anyway, i also put the site I got it from in the file name. It looks like it might be some FSM edit or something.
