Is there any way for a battlecharset to be able to have bigger sprites than 48 x 48 pixels? Because I'm trying to make a battlechar from sprites found on the internet and when I put them in the template they get all squished up. Please help me! :|

In RM2k3? Not unless you go to the trouble of making your own battle system and using pictures for the sprites.
In RMXP sprites can be sized up as large as needed as long as they keep the proper aspect ratio. In addition, there are scripts out there for using a side-scrolling battle system. That would be your best bet if you want to use battle sprites larger than RM2k3's size. Sorry.

That sounds like a great idea and I would love to do that...but I don't have RMXP nor do I have the money to purchase it at this time :(

Actually, you can! Convert the sprites you want to use into Battle Animation files, and make battle animations for all their different stances (Idle, attacking, etc.). Then go to "Animations 2" in the database, make a new set of animations and select the "Animation Type" tab. Here you'll see you have the option to select "Battle Animation" instead of "Character Pose", so pick this and use the drop-down to put your characters together.

THAT'S COOL! Wow, I never noticed that! Now I just have to find a good battle animation template and my dilemma will be solved! Thanks! :jumpin:

Doh! I'll have to keep that in mind.

Hmm...this is odd. Whenever I add my animations either they show up with their background (a big blue box) and parts of them are transparent or they don't show up at all...any ideas?

When importing the battle animation image (Or any other image), it'll come up with a preview pic. Click the blue background and it should start flashing, then just click okay. Or accept or whatever it is.
