Title: Using battle character sets for enemies
Post by: imthewalrus on September 09, 2007, 05:44:54 PM
Can it be done? I don't want my enemies to be static images. I want them to have animation. Is there a way?

The answer is no.  There may be a way to infinitely cycle pictures for enemies, but I doubt it.

Short answer: No.
Long answer: Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.
Alternative answer: Yes.

I think someone did it once. That dude who made the FF7 game claimed that he managed it using something clever. But to be honest I'd just settle for static enemies.

Yes, there is a way, use a custome battle system. Otherwise I dont think there is a way to animate enemies, you can make then switch poses, but thats about it.

You could always make a CBS, but it would take a painfully long time!
