Title: Display Face set in DBS
Post by: sammyzs on October 04, 2007, 08:54:44 AM
So I was wondering how I'm gonna do this. I use the default battle system and I want to show the face set of the character in my party when it is his turn to attack.
Thanks in advance.

There is one option in "System" or "Battle Layout" that gives you the possibility to have the faceset for each character at the bottom of the screen instead of the mana bar if I'm correct.

Only thing I can think of, try to be more speficic.

If it's only when it's his turn to attack, then you are pretty much screwed unless you make yer own battle system from scratch.

Like Prpl_Mage said, there is an option under the "Battale Layout" tab that let's you show the face of the characters, but they show constantly, not only when they are ready to attack.

Yes, what they're thinking of Battle type: Gauge. I use it. The only trouble is that it doesn't show the monster names when you're about to attack them... Little things you might find anoying. I dunno.

Indeed. That's exactly the reason I don't use the Gauge type. It's such an annoyance to me not seeing the monsters names.
