Ok... My friend (more or less) is apparently stressed out over Warcraft... If that weren't bad enough, it's apparently because he's been levelling slow, which is apparently stressing him, and he's apparently having girlfriend trouble and job trouble, but, this is where things get bad...
He wanted to go run Zul Garrub (?) (Fourty man mid end game dungeon), and I didn't exactly feel like it because how late it was... That's when he starts bringing in the "Oh nooes I'm stressing you out by always asking you to bring me through dungeons, now I'm gonna shoot myself with this shot gun next to me."
Things go from bad to worse when he starts changing his story to that he's stressed. That's when he just suddenly says."So, yeah, if you don't want me to go to an early grave, you'll want to run me through ZG." (Zul Garrub)
This is where I come to you guys for advice because a really close friend of mine rarely ever stays online to talk about much anything, and he's pretty much the only person *I* (the guy who seems to be his friend's counselor) can come to advice easilly for.
Anyways, I don't know what to do with him any more. I told my brother when he first saw him."From what I see, if I don't do this crap for him on the drop of a dime, he's going to start threatening me." What do you know, he did, only surprisingly, he didn't threaten mailing me bombs or some such stupid crap, he threatened his own life...
I know it's a bit unclear but I'm stressing out worrying about him, doubt I'll be sleeping, and I'm really worried about him... So what should I say?...

Umm... Sorry, no idea. I fail at anything that has to do with real life or other people.
But please don't say Warcraft, say World of Warcraft or WoW, because that crappy MMORPG is not the brilliant RTS series known as Warcraft.

Don't try to solve it yourself. Refer it to someone who can actually help with stuff like this, like a psychiatrist.

More'er less I saw the "let him" suggestion coming.. Honestly, at this point, I think that, through a combination of getting seriously pissed at him for even threatening me, I convinced him out of it, but I can't honestly believe that he has a shot gun next to his computer desk, so if it comes down to it, yeah, I'll ignore him, otherwise, I'm atleast going to talk to him now and then, I assure you though, he pretty much blew any good things he had with me.
EDIT: Wow, Rev was posting just as I was... Anyways, no, honestly I don't believe him that he will, but he's surprised me before with things that he did, so honestly, I don't want to take any chances with this. Ok, call me what you want for that, I don't care, because I don't HONESTLY believe that he is mentally stable...
If anything, I'm worried what's going to happen assuming he even has it in him to kill himself, because I told him, I'll tell you guys,"No, I don't exactly want to feel like I helped someone get the motivation to kill himself because I didn't take him to a stupid Dungeon in a VIDEOGAME without complaining."

Apex has the idea. I mean, I play MMORPG's, but they're just games to me.
There were times when I was younger when I threatened to take my life. Yeah, dumb idea. People do that for attention, but very rarely do they ever seriously consider it.

The way I see it, he apologizes, starts kissing up again, asks for something, I tell him point blank."No."

He quits the game for two-three days, comes back and does the above, either way, he's screwed as far as me dealing with his begging. If anything, I'll use him as a slapstick if he starts talking about it again.

Haven't met him, don't plan to, and I think he gets it what he did to himself by saying that crap, so whatever, he figured out that I'm sick of him being an idiot, doubt he's going to toy around like that again, and should he... all the obvious things will happen (I get a new buddy on my ignore list...)
Dragonium : I didn't know that you played Monster Hunter, actually, and G rank is...painful... Sure, the easiest stuff is still, easy. But I'm still afraid of NORMAL Plesioth in the guild hall, That, and, Rathalos can one shot me in G rank... ;.;
For the most part, until my brother decides he feels like playing Monster Hunter again, I'm pretty much stuck killing G-rank Khezu (Which I can barely do...) for my thunder sacs and for my True Devil Slicer, after that though, I should be pretty good against Rathalos and Rathian... Oh, and Lao Shan armor, sure it looks AWESOME, but it...kinda sucks o,o

One: Tell you're friend to get Burning Crusade expansion pack. You can get better gear at level 58-70 in Outlands then in ZG...
Two: Tell you're friend to get in a guild. Seriously it helps with leveling if he actually knows more people within the game. Plus, you CANNOT run ZG without a guild (okay it's possible, but good luck getting 20 people up for it..)
Three: In the next patch there will be changes that help leveling within 1-60 range. Tell him to wait before he kills himself..
Four: LOL ZG! Seriously, who runs ZG anymore in that game?
Five: Suicidal over a Video Game? LOL
Six: If all else fails, tell him to just quit WoW.

It can be hard to get when people are joking some times.
I mean, the internet is not designed for intelectual statements and seriousness anymore, so just don't take things like that.
And yes, like stated above.... Why the hell would he waste his tiem in ZG? That's a raid dungeon, it will most probably cause you guys to wipe over and over unless you got players you know.
So bitch-slap him hard and tell him to go to outland if he tries to play ZG, ZG is dead just as MC, AQ, BWL and Naxx.
