Title: Futurama

Ok, I'm working on a Futurama "learning" game for my daughter. She loves Futurama and so I'm making a game to help with 2nd level(ish) reading and math skills.

Anyway, I used Chara's Character Maker to get these started, and then edited them to look somewhat like the characters. I'm not too happy with the look of Amy (girl in pink) or Hermes (black guy). If anyone is fimiliar with this show, can you offer some help in editing these two to look better?

I think what's bugging me is the hair. Fry and Leela's hair are from Chara's, but they look close enough. I keep trying to edit Amy and Hermes hair, but it's not coming out right. Also, I think Hermes might be too skinny. I tried making him "rounder" but he looked like he was square due to the small pixelation.

Oh, I am a religious watcher of Futurama. I have all the DVD's, watch them nightly, and even have the new Binders Big Score on pre-order already. I know all the info, but just can't get the sprites to look right. Maybe that's my downfall... I guess I watch it so much, that I criticize my own work too hard.
