Title: Assassin's Creed
Post by: Roland_Deschain2 on November 27, 2007, 01:18:59 AM: Well, I hadn't played a game in ages, but stopped by my cousin's house for Turkey day, when I saw this beauty. I picked it up, thinking to only play for a minute. I was reminded why I liked video games. The graphics and animations were breathtaking, for that short half an hour I played. I soon realized that, yes I did still like video games, just not the sucky ones that I've seen puked on to store shelves. The game was brilliantly executed and presented, with the one flaw I could see being the character's minor weakness in melee fights and a bit of suspended realism for the rooftop-walking, plus the main character's non-medieval accent seemed too... out of place. I knew I must have it. I bought the game that night and haven't taken the time to stop for very long since. I'm not quite done, stuck on the last target, but I don't care. It was incredible all the way through and I hope for the sequel soon.

Graphics: 10/10
Sound: 9/10
Gameplay: 10/10
Story: 9.5/10
Presentation: 10/10
Overall: 9.5/10

Note: A bit short, but I'm no game critic.

Yeah, good games usually have disappointing endings.

That was a REALLY nice review, and in a lot of ways I agree with him. A 5.5/10 though?
