Title: Samus Sprites plz!!!!

 I would like a Samus Aran charset. I would like her in varia suit with a matching Morphball. This is for 2k3 BTW.

More suits and poses would be greatfully accepted toO!

And you can find a lot of sprites at the Spriters Resource.
Are you going to have the poses for a charset, battle charset or battle animations? And why do you need them anyway?

sorry, i wasn't very specific was i? I want charset poses, 4 directional walk (not sidescroller), and it's for my metroid rpg. and if it helps, sprites should be in metroid prime style.

I searched the whole complete resources, they have not got matching morphballs, but if you just sprite a morph ball and poses for those ones, that'd do fine.

Well, all the metroid games are side scrolled so there is no walking up or down pose for neither samus or the morph ball.
So you won't be able to have it in a style such as one of the classic games.
And you won't be able to do something in Metroid Prime style since... Since it's 3D you know?

But I can make you a charset of samus, walking in 4ways and a morph ball in all the directions as well. And I'll make it look like the suit and ball in Metroid Prime 1/2 if that's okay?
But they will be in the same height and style as the rtp characters.

Just let me knwo waht kind of poses you would like... It's not a side scroller so I don't get what you would need.

Prpl, that's almost exactly what i wanted. And when i say "metroid prime style" i mean the suit and morphball design in general. And rtp style is good, since some of my npcs are charas generated

the poses should be simple, just like a shooting pose and a crouching pose maybe

One important thing i forgot!!! Jumping animation! like the screw atttack style thing, or just her legs in a jumping position.

Ok, here is what I got so far but I just noticed that Warxe made a cool one that is in the complete resources. Check it out if you find it better than mine.

Okay, the charset is done. Tell me if there is anything I should change. I haven't tried the movement out in detail but it worked when I checked.

Morph ball, Samus and then just a pose without helm.
So... What do you need the jumping for? I could just add a little swirl in the charset as well.

And just give me credit where credit is needed.
Of course... Claim this as your own and face a horrible death...

Prpl, that is freaking AWESOME!!! :bend:   This is just what i wanted!

The jumping was for, when samus jumps, but it's not important, as I've figured it will slow the jumping all together. Nice Touch with the helmetless pose.

While i'm in this topic, i may as well ask for the other samus sprite i need. I need a charset of her in her zerosuit (RTP Style).

OK, it is done. I went with the look from Zero mission by the way. Not a huge difference but still.

Added some details on the ball and suit while I was at it...
And I made sure that it works in the maker as well now.

And while I'm talking about Zero mission... My friend beat that game in 38min... Amazing to see him knowing the entire game inside out and moving with such accurecy.

Right, Dark Samus, edited from the Samus charset. Kinda' cheap I guess but it looks like her though.

And I can't remember exactly how the cloud thingy looked but I think I were able to get it look cole enough.

So, yeah. Just give me credits when you flash your cool resources around or when the game is done.

And let me know if you need any other suits and such for Samus. Wouldn't be too hard for me to fix that for ya'.

Try using the colors from the Dark samus charset sprite and recolor it yourself.  A Recolor isn't too hard.  But if you can't do it, I guess I could try it.

Aight, did this as well. Major difference between Samus and Dark samus are the shoulders, the cannon, visor and hands/legs that are more like limbs than armour.

Sorry to steal yer spotlight Afl but I might as well keep helping now that I've already done the first ones.

You can't find Echoes in a gamestore over there? Man that's awful...  I know plenty of places I can get it over here... Have you actually asked the storekeepers about the game?
Shouldn't be too hard to contact your nintendo office and order one otherwise.
