Title: Interesting CD burning problem

My computer has developed an interesting quirk. It doesn't burn music CDs right. Out of the normal 70 or 80 minute capacity, only about 20 to 30 will burn right. If I lower the burn list to 20 to 30 minutes, even less burns, although it's not proportional. It's really annoying, and I thought at first it was Windows Media Player. I tried other programs.... no dice, same issue. What could be wrong with my cd burner? The files are all fine and dandy.

It may be the CDs.... I had a problem like that a while ago, turns out it was the CDs causing it. They had some sort of ring around the middle....
