I have RPG maker 2003 and all the character sets and faces, etc. are unable to be imported into it because of an "Invalid color depth". Even the ones I make myself won't import. What can I do to fix the color depth so it will be successfully imported into RPG maker 2003?

EXPORT something from RM2K3, copy your pictures one by one into the RM export and resave them as their original name. That SHOULD reset the color depth of the pictures to 256 colors.

If you have Photoshop you can Save them as 256 With A minimal Color loss.
If you have Photoshop Ill tell ya how

I don't quite understand that. What is RM? I apologize for being a n00b at this.

RM's an epic abbreviation for the already epicly abreviated Rpgmaker

Yeah, most Rpgmaker2k3 comes with a RTP folder with resources.
They are already fixed to only use a certain ammount of colours, so it will work if you copy your resource and then paste it into one of the RTP then save it with a different name.
Con? Yeah, you are not entirely sure that you will actualyl find a RTP resource with the right colours.
Another way is uding picture-editing tools such as Photoshop or IrfanView. There is a choice in "Decrease colour depth" to reduce the used colours to 256.
This is the highest number of colours used. Then simply save the picture as a PNG and it will work.

I spelled it correctly, it's just the American version of that word.
