Hi everyone.

I've lurked here for a while, silently admiring the sprite art of other people. I don't just look, of course. I fell in love with the character generator as a convenient way to make large groups of townspeople who look like they belong together or allow my frends to make characters. Most of the bodies and outfits are of varying quality so I made my own set, then eventually decided to upload it. My ambition is to one day have my own folder so that people don't have to search for outfits that fit the bodies I made.


I am a 24 year old woman and I draw for a living. I've been online since 1992 but I have nothing against newbies. I use RPGmaker as a way to relax or test out story ideas to show to my friends. I'm actually working as a character designer for a tiny computer game company right now, but my job is so specific that blowing off steam with something easy like RPGmaker is wonderful. Among my other hobbies are making dolls-- 3D ones, not pixel.

The forums terrified me for a long time so I never bothered with them and, having bothered, I am still a little bit terrified. We'll see if I need to be. If this is too annoying I'll probably go right back to lurking.

I see nothing wrong with people joining up just to request. Why not? I joined just to take requests. ;)

Greetigns and welcome to the charas forums.
Where are a nice bunch of people who likes to do things our way. You'll feel very obligated to stick around eventually so you can being sticking around just about...-now.

And, yeah. Most people got unique welcoming posts, so don't ger frightenend of it, it's tradition.

On a second note... We've had a ton of people joining->Requesting->never being heard of again(not even a thanks); so that's why we have that rule(although it isn't quite actuall at the current time.)
