As of february first, 2008, Charas will be closing its doors to the public, for a few days time to make the move to our new server, and Upgrade to CHARAS 3.0 (BETTER FASTER STRONGER). Much data will have to be moved, so needless to say a few days at least, will be needed (MT:Alex reckons it'll take a week).
Osmose's hard work has paid off. We could all stand to give him a pat on the back. Thank you to all of the folks who beta tested. Thank you to Alex for taking time from his busy scedule to help with the move.
Looking forward to seeing you all at the new forum.

On Jan 31st, Take a screeshot of a full windowed charas. Past it in paint as a bmp file, and desk top it. this will help

Though my whole schedual of checking charas daily will be horibly screwed up. I'll wake up, try to log onto charas, only to realize that I can't. :( I'll have to find something else to do on the internet besides going on charas. And everyone knows the only two things on the internet is charas and p0rn...
A quick question, does anyone know if charas 3.0 will be more IE friendly? Most people have problems when trying to access the forum main page with IE or AOL when logged in. I didn't catch if that would be fixed or not.

I admit that I thought there'd be a visual change but I guess the fact remains that Osmose is a busy man. Since there's been threads in which Osmose has been asking around for design ideas, this place will probably get a new look in the future.
In the very near future, I'm trying to get a banner contest going so we can change that.
