Post by: zuhane1 on March 26, 2008, 01:08:07 PM
I know they work with most game on a PC today, do they work with RPG maker? How would they be programmed to use the numbers etc?

I don't think RPG Maker has this feature, but there are other programs you can use to make a button on the controller work as one of the buttons on your keyboard.

I don't see why not. You'd have to tinker with the controller button configuration to make it work with keyboard commands. Must be possible.

Sure you can! But it'd be easiest if you got JoyToKey or some other controller-to-keyboard program. Then you can set up the controls to whatever you want. Sure, it involves using an external program, but it gets the job done. Besides, you could zip up the installer and a saved control scheme with your game if you really want to integrate it into gameplay.

I play Ember Sky with a Playstation controller and a USB connector. I don't see why Xbox wouldn't work.
