Title: opening problems

Whenever I open an RM2K3 game for testplay or from the folder (bly clicking the red haired girl with the blue hair and the sword) it comes out in full screen, with about an inch moved to the right, so its cut off and there is a black line going through it on the left. But screenshots come up normally. Also, I can't use F4 or F5 to change it. If I use test play, sure I can select to have it in normal view, but I want to distrubite this to my friends who don't ahve rm2k3

Also, when using test play, or any form for that matter, i have to press a button on the title screen, then click off of it, then click back onto it for the button to take an effect.

The first problem has been around for a while, but the weird second one is brand new.

The screen thing is most likely just your monitor/computer.  I don't think it will happen on your friends'... unless they have the same computer/monitor.

THanks. I just installed a different version of rm2k3, still got the same problems though. I guess it is my computer. My second problem also is spread to other games, not just my project.

edit : okay, now i got a mosre hasty problem. since i could never get it to work past the title screen or intro, i didnt know:

none of the buttens work!!!!!

cept for xand all butten asfter it, which act as a typical 'decision' key instead of 'cancel' and alt, which acts as 'decision' instead of nothing at all.

A big problem, the arrow keys do nothing!!!!!

I had a simular problem, minus the keys. Its a problem with the graphcis card, or rather software problems with the graphics card. What kind of graphics card do you have?

The buttons... thats odd, do you have a game controller plugged into your computer, that might do it.

I fixed the keys problem by changing the batteries in the keyboard.
Not really sure what kind of graphics card, but will it come up on other computers?


EDIT : ARGH!!!! Even with a different version of rm2k3 and new batteries, the Normal feel of the game only lasted a few days!!!!

Its back to cut up screen and falty buttons (which wouldn't be so bad if you could at least move)

THe keyes are all wacked up again!!!!! Plus I changed the batteries, whihc fixed it before, and now it still wont work. Why does this only happen whenever I get seriius about a game!?!?

Restart your computer.  That helped when my keys were messed up with RPGmaker.
