Title: A GAME!!!!
Post by: blaman on January 29, 2004, 11:40:48 PM: Ok. This one is ORIGINOL!!! I haven't really got a story. But I cna tell you some features:
It's also a futeristic!
*There are 2 weopons you chose from at the start, but as you fight, your weopons evolve.
So, you start with a sword, use it in one way and BANG!! You get a wide range sword. Use it the other and you get a longer sword.
After that it depends on what type of attacks you use then it gose to a SP sword (No matter what sword you have) then it gose to this and that! I'm not ruining the surprise.
* Loads of combonations of charaters.
High attack, Low brains
High Defense, low attack
You chose!
* and soon to be uptadted.
You chose if your a boy or a girl (no difference!)
Chose an antivirus partner (Also gender selectable)
Tell me what you think of the features so far!

You're in the futre in this game, people have the ability to go inside computers. Think of it like MMBN (Megaman Battle Network).
Execpt that you have a team mate and that there are no net navis oor PETs. The anti virus just helps you. Like your first party member. (ok so it's not 100% origonal) There are no copied charaters but all it is is the ability to into computers. Would that be 100% origonal are is it a bit lower?

But that was really accidental, but it still had people going into computers.

Sorry if you never saw Tron, and i just ruined the originality of the game.

Though it may still have it good parts. Like if the whole soceity is based off of traveling through computers, then that would be different. And bizzare, but mostly different.

Mother: It's about time we told.
Father: No. It's not time for it.
Mother: Fine... You must understand that I need to say.
Father: Hmm..... I never though of it that way. Yes, you say it today.
Mother: Finally, our child will now know.

*Mother comes up the stairs.*

Mother: [your name], wake up. I have something important to tell you.
*Mother knocks on door*
You: Come in.
*Mother comes in*
Mother: There is something i must tell you. We are no longer able to keep you as a child. You must flee into the computer networking and live in there like as if it were your own room. You will be leaving. But I'm not sending you alone. You're going to be with an anti virs program that will protect you. Be sure you stay within the city. I'll give you this net card to creat your house.
*Mother starts crying*
Mother: You must go. I'll explain later. Quickly! Go. We'll meet agian, don't worry about it.

*You get out of bed and walk to your computer*
*You plug in a cord into the front and pop in the card.*
*A door opens and you step in*
*You're transported into your computer with your anti virus buddy*

You: So, this is how horrible the world is. It's treating me horibly.
*You start crying*
*another figure is beside you (this will vary)*
Anti virus: I know how it feels. I was just like you. I'll get you going with this type of life, don't worry.

That's all for now.

But, here are some of the characters in detail:

Personality:
You are a very lazy person and love to sleep. A herioc being dosn't mean that you can't be very lazy. Often you are either in bed or exploring the computer. You are also a skilled programmer and creat useful deviceses.

Antivirus Programe:
Name: Selectable
Age: ???
Gender: Selectable
Personality: This friend has belonged to your mother for more than you remeber. It can always be givin a task and carry it out with almost or no effort at all. Superior it is, it is just like you: lazy.
Lucklythe alarm installed in it allows it to track other viruses near you down.

Sounds a little like .hack//SIGN(Just a little, perhaps as an inspiration?), and there are some science fiction movies where people get stuck in a comp. And you yourself mentioned the Megaman Battle Network. But the main idea is original RPG-wise with the Anit-virus and gender selections. It sounds like it'd be good and the opening sample you gave is nice, but if the spelling is like you're earlier posts, it'll just be annoying (no matter how good a game, frequent bad spelling makes it annoying)

I've even played games from real computer entertainment companies (companies that make games) and they spell things wrong, too, and I don't mean on purpose.
eg. 'X-ecutioners' or 'X-treme' or
'X-treme X-ylophonist X-ecutioners of Planet X-something' (wow that was 'X-aggerated')

When you finish, you could send it to someone (ME :D )to check and correct the spelling, grammer, and what-have-you. (I also write well, so if you have any trouble with the story just ask me, 'Your Friendly Neighborhood... er... Person Like-Thing'.

It'd also be cool that instead of a physical weapon like a sword or whatever it was some kind of gauntlet which released an energy sword or something, like the one in this Samurai dude game on the ps2, I don't remember the game though. I'm also working on a sci-fi game right now, but it's a bit darker and more apocalyptic; you should check it out, the link is below. Oh, more more thing, I think you should work a bit more on the intro, but the idea as a whole is good and interesting.
