Title: A quick question.
Post by: K Rool on May 21, 2008, 09:00:34 PM
My friend SmithyGCN said you could help. I want to set a single frame sprite as my character in an RPG Maker 2003 game. My problem is this:

See, the box is too small. So I did it in the first Animation Tab which is for spells, and I can't set it as my character. Below is an awfully edited picture of what it should look like but I don't know how to do it.

You're going to need to put that battle character into a battle animation sheet. Then create the animations and set them as the battle set.

Give Smithy props on the rips.

Look in the first picture, my sprite is too big for the battle animation sheet. The program automatically breaks up the image.

Not battle charset. Battle animation, as in the sheets that have attacks etc on them. Make one with the Gundam, create animations to serve as the battle character animations, and set them as such. Maybe someone else can explain better.

Suuuure thing zeek.

He means sets like this sheet attatched ( not made by me). Arrange the thing like this, make it into an animation in the database like you would if you were creating a skill, and then check the option in character animations that says 'use battle animation' or something. Set the animation to the skill animation and... Well, if you can figure that out, you'll be fine.
