Post by: lilsniffs3 on May 22, 2008, 11:44:31 AM: I stopped liking GH3 after my brother said he was better than me at it, and I can kick his *** at a REAL instrument, he can't even play anything musical. To think I was making a GH Game in RPG Maker....... until this:

Having said that, I still can play a little piano. :P

I would be much happier if they made a I and II remake for Wii (even though it isn't by them, they have enough rights already). That way I wouldn't have to go through this custom song trouble... I'm still in the long process...

I'm pretty addicted to GH though. So addicted I might just have to settle for getting Aerosmith soon. I'm bored of the songs on III, though I still haven't beaten One or Raining Blood on expert or Lou on hard. But I mean bored with my selection of songs, not the fact that there are still some things I can't do.

Post by: Prpl_Mage on May 22, 2008, 10:50:21 PM: I pretty much suck at Guitar Hero since It's too small compared to an accoustic guitar. I can play some spainish-styled **** on the guitar... Rasquado or something. I really suck at everything that have to do with the theory, I just listen to the song and then play it 'till it sounds right.

Either way, Guitar hero 2 was great. Especially with "Trogdor the burninator" song which was awesome. But I actually plainly suck at guitar hero since nothing is where it's supposed to be.

I bought Guitar hero for my brother but the yellow button got stuck 2 days later...

And another game that went downhill was Worms. Worms was awesome but then UbiSoft bought the title and made 3d games that killed the classic worms.

I cannot play a musical instrument, because of the fact that my recorder was the most horrible thing ever, and I ended up listening to music. Ive got enough on my mind to MAKE music.

I got alright at Guitar hero 2 but I ended up getting the same problem I eventually had with Tony Hawk's pro skater 3... RSI or something similar. Totally sucks.

I can get over 90% on most of the songs on hard but I never got further than that because my bloody fingers started seizing up >.>

It's kinda funny how some of the bits which are hard to play on GH are the easier bits on real guitar. Tiring fast chords, for instance.

British people are funny.

BTW, I'm just saying that he says his GH playing is better than me at piano and vocals. I tell him "Dude, it's not a real guitar." And he says "So? Piano and singing are gay. Guitar Hero is better." My skill is USEFUL in life. Doofus (I have never used that word in a long time, since I saw a video of that guy who sang Dragostea din tei in Swedish Idol).

Don't diss Dragotstea Din Tea. Just because O-Zone is incredibly gay, the song still is awesome.

On topic now, I used to play Guitar Hero on Heavy or whatever that translates to from DDR. Then I stopped and now just stick to Standard (again, converted) for the sheer fact that I can bounce around like I'm goddamn Angus Young. Never played GH3 once I found out about Holiday in Cambodia being on it, as that pissed me the **** off, so now I play Rock Band, but I'm usually drums anyway.

I know this is just what everyone else is saying, but I know this guy who can SHRED stuff up on his strings, but get him on guitar hero, and he last about 30 seconds on easy.

I do well on hard, but can't even play mary had a little lamb if you hand me a real guitar

Eh, stuff like learning to play an instrument can show your possible employer that you can commit to things.

For me, doing this stuff is kinda a requirement to major in Music Education. lol.

I don't care if it's not useful in life, but, YOU CANT GET A RECORD DEAL WITH A PLASTIC GUITAR. It's the painful truth. Piano and singing is much more useful in life than GH, though. You can't do anything with your life just by playing GH and RB.

My real purpose of this topic was to shoe the 3 GH games coming up, and look at your complaints about how each game is made by the same company, Activision.
