Title: Zerl's stuff- Updated June 25
Post by: Zerlina on June 07, 2008, 03:03:28 AM
Ok...so here's my stuff (again since the thread magically disappeared)!

Here is a screen showing my system2 edit, as well as three of my battlesprites (to see two of them in progress, I made a WIP thread in the charas gallery board).

As well, here are two large versions of two facesets I did. One is old (you've seen it in my sig I hope!) The other is brand new.

They're over here.

Once I have time, I'll make a youtube video on how to make bcharsets since I think it's something most people have trouble with (and me making a coding video would be terribly terribly...terrible).

Cool. My only problem with it is that they don't seem to have much personality... I dunno. The lack of a face is a problem, I reckon.

Other than that they look amazing.

Yeah...I tried to put faces on them. It just looked kinda...dumb. I really wish I could give them faces though, since it adds so much. But *sigh* nothing looks good.

I've been remaking some facesets I wasn't happy with. Here's the latest one, I'm not finished with it yet. My problem with her old faceset was really that she didn't fit the geographical area I was going for. And it also seemed a bit too forgettable.

Also, here's a short youtube of two of my sprites in action. I just uploaded it to give an exsmple to someone about something, so that's why they're only two. But I thought I'd let you guys see anyway. Ignore the rtp attack from the monster. I'm leaving those to the end.

So how're you doing those? mix-n-matching face parts and digi-painting over them?
