Title: More issues
Post by: Prpl_Mage on June 12, 2008, 08:20:22 PM
Well signatures, subscribles and attachments aren't the only thing that is messed up these days.

Neither Zerlina or Ace seems to be able to log in anymore. They asked me to further this to you, and hopefully there will be a mod hopping his way over to fix it.

So yeah, Log-ins ain't working.

As Zerlina said "i login but it doesn't log in...
i enter my password and everything then i'm still logged out"

Godspeed!

This was happening to FFL, but he just had to clear his private data in Firefox (Tools->Clear Private Data) and things were working again.

Well, it's still logging me out sometimes, but going back to the main page by using my handy dandy Charas bookmark logs me back in somehow.

Thank goodness I don't log out for anything. Ever.

Especially when there's a security threat detected.

That happened to me before, but only when I tried to use the Edit Post button. I logged in on the main page and then didn't use it, but then later when I did it worked. It's weird...

I'm like a ninja, you see. Fixes occur without announcement.

Speaking of which, tomorrow I'm devoting towards redesigning the thread view page. I don't seem to remember any other major complaints with SMF, so after that comes making the rest of the site work with the new logins before trying the switch again.
