Title: Oh no! Map Tree Error?! What?!
Post by: teaflower on July 08, 2008, 01:31:51 AM
I have a feeling there's a topic about this already, but it helps to make a new one, right?

Earlier today (like two hours ago, maybe) I was working on my RPGMaker2000 game. Everything was going wonderfully! I closed the program and had supper. When I came back, it said that there was a "Map tree data break. This project can't be read." And I almost had the demo ready, too! I worked my *** off on the Database making baddies and on my maps (they could still use some work) and my events (I forgot how I made them do what they did...) and I don't want to lose them all!

Please, if anyone can help me, do! Thank you in advance!
EDIT: I found something that undoes this in RM2k3, but I'm not using that. Will it still work?

That was the thing I was talking about. Will it work on 2000?

I just tried it now. Yay! I have my maps back! Now let me... YAAAAAAAAAAY! My data base! Oh, I missed you sooooo much!

I just need to rename everything. *sigh* That'll take an hour. Thank you!  :bend:
