I was wondering if theres a way to script in 2k3 that will allow me to have a front view system instead of a side.

Or there's always leave the battle characters in and just make them facing forward. ;P

If you put the blank battlechars in the very middle of the screen it'll look more like the monster's attacking 'you'. Remember set the enemy skills to shake and flash the screen rather than the battlechar, too.

Or just do it in RPGMXP.

Meh.  I always prefered seeming my characters in battle, front view or whatever.  Plus it'd make your game look original, having a change of perspective.  Kind of like Final Fantasy: Endless Nova. (even if I didn't like that game that much)

Rmxp is extremely laggy on some computers.  VX is better... except you don't have character graphic by default. >.<

I will pretty much always use RM2K3. I've always loved FF4-9 style and all the other games like them I always will. I really don't like th way you can't use Battlesprites in XP. I wish they would bring  back the way those games battles were set up, but FF12 was a step in the right direction.
