OK, not sure if this goes here, but I think it does... Anyway, there's a glitch in Rm2k3, and from the looks of it, it's diffrent for each computer. MP3's may sometimes crash Rm2k3 with lots of "Not Implemented" messages. This is because, I think, Rm2k3 was hacked to play MP3's, and whoever hacked it forgot something. Now, I'm not sure what the real problem is, but I know that I played FF6's chocobo theme in Rm2k3, and I got the glitch. I gave the file to Purple Mage(can't remember exact spelling) and it worked fine on his comp. I gave it to a friend of mine named Pateck/Pateckharu and it did the same. Purple said he has Vista, Pateck has XP. The overworld theme from FFV's second world doesn't work on my mom's laptop. If youget this problem and you can't figure out what to do, just take out the music that should've been playing, and it should be fine. This only applies to MP3's as far as I know. EDIT: oops, Pateck has Vista too lmfo

Really? I have never had this problem. On any computers I've used. Could it be the files themselves? Because Rm2k3 does support it. Rm2k doesn't. It needs a patch. Which from what i've heard, works.

I don't think it's the files themselves, but it could be. How do you tell if it is? And I've heard of people with Rm2k3 that can't play MP3's

There's many similar, but slightly different, versions of rm2k3. Each one has something wrong with it :p Try downloading another version, if you can find one.

It's not a problem for me, I just take the music I really, truely need and convert it to WAV format. Example: FF1 aniversery edition-Battle with Gilgamesh. MP3, no worky worky. WAV, yay! Disadvantage: WAV's are huuuuuuge. But I might look into it.
