Title: Dragonium's Gallery of Creative Shame
Post by: Dragonium on August 17, 2008, 10:41:01 PM
I want one of these too. Anyway, as is the fashion, I'm going to show off some of my not-too-great creative things.

Valiant Heroes (http://www.box.net/shared/crlnba08dl) - A funky little battle theme I knocked out in a few minutes. I'm actually pretty happy with this.

Soldiers' Pride (http://www.box.net/shared/d89xh1ujn5) - Served as an intro for an RPG Maker project I got bored of. Nothing special if I'm honest.

Ash's Song II (http://www.box.net/shared/yubik1b40i) - A little guitar recording I composed for testing out my recording gear. Then I went and re-did it because the first was full of mistakes.

Dragonium and Bluhman: cleaning up the e-streets.

More sprites and shiny things are coming when I leaf through my heaps of unfinished MS Paint work and decide if any of it is worth posting.

I also have a currently-idle webcomic on DrunkDuck, but you can find that for yourselves. :P

I''ll be the first to comment.

The hector edit is kinda cool. More red than orange would make him match your avatar/sig a bit better.

The theif edit is decent. Didn't look very much like Bluhman until I squinted at it and saw the facial hair. I got a kick outta that.

I'll listen to the music later.

I liked the music, got a final fantasy feeling from the first one and fire emblem feeling from the second.
All three were great anyway. At least waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than anything i could make.

Gonna agreee with Meis though with the sprites. Bluhamn could use a bit more work(and darker beard).

Thank you kind sirs.

Dragonium's colours have been fixed.

I'll touch up Bluhman tomorrow. In a purely non-homoerotic way.

EDIT: (http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p69/DragoniumOfTheFire/StillCleaningUpTheStreets.png)

Dragonium and Bluhman - now with more beard.

I also have a new battle/boss theme - In Our Path (http://www.box.net/shared/yx20k02uim).

I have nothing to do today, who needs a forest theme? - Sunlight Through Leaves (http://www.box.net/shared/81kc29d5oe)

I can't help but to love when people get bored. That's when they do THE stuff.

Still like your songs and the new Bluhman looks a lot better. Try to add a guitar to the Dragonium sprite, Would look great if he does the "spin-axe-over-head" animation.

The sprites are much improved. I listened to the battle theme, cuz I likes battle themes. Reminded me a lot of the BC era from Chrono Trigger. As a battle theme, I don't think it is very good, but when I subbed that in for my current music for a jungle I have it worked very nicely.

We both know I'm going to go and try to do that right now.

Glad you liked it. I was thinking "battle theme" when I made it, but I'm always happy for people to use it in whatever way they see fit.

Anything I make in this thread is freely available for anyone to use as they wish. Just don't be offended if I also use it myself in future RPG Maker projects. :P

I like the battle, but it could do with more variety and one or two cleaner instruments, methinks. Pretty good overall.

I liked soldier's pride quite a lot for some reason. It's... you know. Nifty keen.
