Seriously, it's not that bad (to anyone who's getting theirs out). I got them out at 11 this morning. By five i was dandy and playing dirge of cerberus.
The only thing that's scary is the waiting room where you can hear all the tools and stuff. And then when you go into the room and there's all those people there, doing things. Like..one person was strapping my arm, one person was steralizing it, one person was giving me a needle, one person was wrapping my hair up in a towel, one person was taking my blood pressure, another was taking my oxygen. and they all came out of nowhere and i didn't know what the hell was going on. And I kept pulling my legs up without realizing it cause i guess i wanted to go into the fetal position lol. so one nurse had to keep pushing them down.
then they gassed me.
And i woke up in the car for ten seconds :). Then i woke up in my bed. Then i tried to eat but my mouth was too frozen to swallow.
Then i took tylenol. Now I'm fine.
So screw people who were all like "WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE"
Before the meds they gave me wore off, I just felt drunk and happy. Now they're worn off and if I don't touch the back of my mouth it doesn't hurt. Although I look pretty funny. It's like I have golf balls not even in my cheeks- below my cheeks. lol.

Seriously though the people made it sound horrible before I got it done. They told me all this stuff about getting their teeth out. How they werwe awake for it. How they felt them cutting, how for a week they were in agonizing pain. Seriously...NOT THAT BAD. So buck up if you're getting yours out cause it's not bad at all. I've had fevers worse than this.

I got my tonsels out. It hurt like heck, but I got to eat lots of jello.
Edit: Pepole were hazing Zerl? Shame on you all!

I don't think it could be any worse then when my dad pulled one of my teeth out when I was five.
I have to get my wisdom teeth pulled in a few weeks, hopefully get me out of school. How long do the meds last, approximately?
-
Ok, good for you.

Mine never hurt coming in, and have never hurt. The most the dentist ever had to do was pick off a tab of my gum that was flopping on top. I never minded dental trips other than that they take so damn long. Shot of anesthetic, ear buds in, spit when he tells me too, good to go.

The worst part for me when I got my wisdom teeth pulled was the IV they used to put me to sleep. I really hate needles. :x Afterwards was fine, got to take like 3 excused absences from school and do nothing. :P

Don't worry it's not bad as everyone says. You don't remember anything, the IV doesn't hurt. The meds last a few days. I stopped taking the painkillers though.

I wanna be gassed too :(

To be honest, I've never had a tooth out, or a brace, or a filling, or anything. My wisdom teeth are all pretty okay.
And yeah anaesthetic is fun :p

Well I've snapped my leg bone in half in 3-4 places falling down a hill, had to hop back up it, got drug to the hospital. And told to take some tylenol, and go to another hospital tommorow after waiting 4 hours in a hospial bed for a doctor to that was having "lunch". Then went to another where I had **** loads of titanium put in my leg. But I've yet to have the worst experience of my life in a dentist's office...
