How exactly do you rip graphics. Is there a certain program to use or something
plz help!
-
Ripping just means taking a copy of the sprites you want and isolating them. A simple way to do it is to take a screenshot of the graphic you want, paste it into Paint, and remove the stuff around it to isolate the sprite. Job done.

Press the Print Screen/PrntScrn key on your keyboard. Then paste the image into Paint.
You didn't really need two threads for this.

Yeah, what Drag said.
There are roms, used in Emultars that allows you to play for example: GBA games on your computer.
While playing, (let's say:) FF1 and fighting Garland you simply either click "Prt Sc" next to the F12 button or check options and see if the emulator already goot a screenshot/capture command assigned to a button.
Either way, just click that button.
Open paint.
Select: Paste(Screenshots are saved as a copied file).
Remove the background around Garland.
Copy Garland and:
1. paste him into an existing RPgm2k3/whatever resource and save it with a different name after removing everything from the old resource(monster sprite that is).
2. Paste him into the program "IrfanView"(have to download it) and click the tab called "Image"-> "Decrease colour depth" ->and choose "256 colours". You might want to unheck the dithering as well.
