I thought Aids came into the human population because some person in Africa had sex with a monkey that had it because they mate with their siblings and this whole genetic thing. Either that or the monkey bit them.

I thought AIDS was created when the settlering sailors ate something bad and then had mansex. So the stuff that simply should've been poped out ended up on the stick.

It's an acronym, all of them are capitlized. You said you read the wikipedia article, and you have never seen the S capitalized. It's capitalized AT THE TOP OF THE WIKIPEDIA ARTICLE. AIDS. Not AIDs. I don't care if you don't capitalize any of them, but don't make an effort to do 3 and not all 4.

So I was wrong with chimp sex, but it CERTAINLY wasn't some kind of conspiracy injecting kidney juice into people. It says directly below that it was used to develop a POLIO vaccine, as in to try and SAVE more African lives. It even then goes on to say that the original sample was found and was proven to not only contain NO trace of the HIV virus, but that the kidney cells of the specific monkey used cannot harbor the HIV virus.

You see that 16-22? Those are all sources. I'm too lazy to check them out, but that's 7 sources for one statement. Seems like good odds that its more accepted that the who kidney theory is less likely than the actual method to me.

Shino, we live longer and all that because of the breakthrough of medicine and drugs, not quite because we evovle. We havn't evolved that much since back in the renaissance. We evolve pretty slow.
Viruses and diseases on the other hand evolves; becoming immune to our medicine and the ability to affect other cells than before. Liek certain animal-only viruses that now can infect people.
And as for aids, face the fact. We don't really know, we only have theories. it's like the creation of the world. No one knows, there are just a hella' lot of theories.

Why would the government create an easily transferred disease to destroy a human archetype that composes less than 5% of the entire American population? Obviously, to do so would be just as deadly to a straight person as to a homosexual. Besides, since the AIDS virus was first recognized in the late 1970's and there are still homosexual individuals living out their lives, the AIDS virus could not possibly kill every homosexual in the world. Government conspiracy, hardly.
As for my personal belief, I think that, like most of the viruses and various other diseases that plague human existence, it started in nature, probably from a mutation of another nasty bug, and managed to find its way all the way around the world during the last 30 years or so. But, since I don't have AIDS myself, it's really no concern of mine, and I have no interest pursuing said virus at this time.

In my city, the newspaper had a bunch of murder and drug bust articles, which was when all the new yorkers were coming over here with drugs... but instead of having those on the first, or even second page, we had... As much as the english language as elected to be the one used in my post, being a notorious fact that english is the universal language, accepted in all international trading operations, the word "DOLLAR", mentioned, was elected because even though the Euro has a current value superior to the american dollar, this is still the base currency accepted in all international trading operations, making the metaphor accessible to every single reader, including the ones resident in poor countries as mine, in which -nowadays-, Euro bills are pretty rare, but we still see some dollars around.

I just wrote a giant post explaining to ZKX (which is a good friend of mine) what I meant when I wrote what I wrote...and that's just a opinion of a guy that might as well not even exist! News stories are sifted through to select only the sanitised ones, and many newspapers are biased in favour of one group or political party. You can't know what's going on across the world, because the media skews it to give you the view they want you to have. The only way you can be totally sure is to go and find out first-hand. Which is a pretty sucky idea.

Even more people say screw the meds and get sick. EVERYTHING these days is said to cause autism. The sweetening agent in diet soda? AUTISM. For half of these conspiracy theories to work Mid it requires that hundreds of international groups and thousands of individuals are all co-operating together.

Gem's right though. We're taller now than they were in victorian times but we're the same species. Evolution happens all the time but the chances of some incredible mutation being introduced into our gene pool is very rare now... The people most likely to get laid are the normal looking ones, not the freaks.
