Hi guys, just posting in to let you know why I've disappeared (if you've even noticed...which I doubt). But anyway, to the few who acknowledge my existence-
I've been kept really busy lately.
Mostly on an upcoming webseries that I wrote and am producing and acting in with some friends. It's a 5-episode RPG parody that I wrote to get out my creative frustration after my game disappeared. It's actually been quite rewarding. We just finished our last revisions, all the equipment is set, casting is done, most of the costumes are finished (a few are still in alterations), and most of the weaposn are done (my rod is drying as we speak). It's been a serious commitment, but I've really needed something to work on that I could conceivably finish in less than three years. I think you guys will really enjoy this. I posted a topic asking for suggestions a while back (and got none...but I hope you'll stil like it anyway). There are subtle references to charas in it...if you can pick them up. And there are some subtle RM jokes too. Look for it soon- we're shooting on HD and we've got a nice shiny new shot mic, so it's gonna be awesome. I'll post pics after we do our promo shoot.
Along with that, I've also just started university, in Writing and Entertainment Studies. It's a blast so far, but as a commuter student I'm losing a lot of time in transit (my university is over an hour away from my house). On the bright side, a lot of the writing courses are asking about Classical Mythology and Literature...it makes me feel really smart. Today my prof asked the class what the Iliad was about and I was the only one who knew...I don't think she expected the detail though haha. One thing I noticed- in University, it seems to be a good thing (among your peers) when you're smart.
Also, a few days ago, my friends and I were driving home from a script reading, and we found two little kittens on the road, getting rained on. So I took them home, but they're so young (only three weeks old) that I have to bottlefeed them, bathe them, and put them to sleep. So what I don't spend studying, or working on the series, I spend with them.
I'm still doing my video reviews, but GAWDAMMIT i cannot for the life of me beat the first boss of Carpe Diem. And every time Ig et free time to go testplay some games I just end up getting game over. I may end up just switching the order I review things in. Unless I'm missing some trick about this battle and someone wants to fill me in.
I'm also still remaking Palis. I made a few of the maps a while ago, but I'm going to do most of the work in winter, when we're not shooting anymore. Right now we really have to focus on shooting because the Canadian Autumn is not fun to shoot in. Especially considering that I'm in a dress, and for one scene I have to be waist deep in water (yeah guess what scene we're spoofing).
So just letting you guys know I'm alive! I'll keep you posted on life, and I'll get back to SoP in the winter time. Until then please give me patience with my video reviews- I'm definitely still doing them. I just need some free time!

Uh, hey. I would say I've noticed, but absence spells like this aren't exactly abnormal for you... Or other female members...
I think it's all the sex jokes. Lord knows I contribute more than my fair share of 'em.
