For me right, now it's chemistry. How many people hate this awful subject as much as I do? Or if you like it, why? I've been studying for my test tomorrow all day because I never learn anything in my lectures. The material isn't really that hard but I'm just so bad at it for some reason. Once this term and CHEM 101 are over, I'm saying goodbye to chemistry forever!
So, how about the rest of you?

I failed chemistry miserably. Oh man, that was a bad year.
If "recent" schooling counts, I'll say that one about learning copyright and writing essays and stuff. That one bit balls.

C++ it's fun and all but it gives me a head ache every day. Specially now when we started with object oriented programming.
But then again it's the only thing we're reading right now.

I hate Algebra sooo much... It's not really hard just amazingly boring to me.
And actually, I find Chemistry interesting, to a point, it can get really boring... I mean, I did fail it last year. =X

I just hate everything about chemistry. Not only am I not interested in the slightest bit, but all the problems I get are purposely worded in the most confusing way possible. You can work through the entire thing correctly and get a completely messed up answer because you misplaced one value somewhere. You put grams where moles was supposed to be! OH NO. That was the most important step in the 20 step problem! Ugh...

I hate math. I also dislike french. I don't like english very much either. Same for mostly everything, now that I think about it... but I guess the class I like the less would be math. Sucks, and it's pretty useless, in some way...

English at the momment as my teacher is demanding a lot of essays and commitment and pressure to do well and pass is really fustrating and takes alot of energy out of me

Oh, english is quite easy for me too. But easiest doesn't mean best.
However, the teacher I had in sec.3 made it one of my favorite class. But only in sec.3.

Eh, I think it's all the same when it comes to courses of your first language. English was my strong point in high school, which is why I don't have to take it now, which worked out great because I replaced it with Japanese. The sad thing is, my friends in Japanese class are in the honors college in the really nice dorm I wish I lived in, and I was too dumb to apply like I should have. I probably could have gotten in before getting here, but now that I'm here, the requirements for a CURRENT student to get in are borderline absurd. I might be able to do it if it wasn't for CHEM AGH I HATE IT HAVING EVEN A B IN THAT CLASS WILL BRING ME DOWN TOO FAR.

It's the same in french.
Little exemple,
The verb "to be" in english and french:
Take it as a lesson!

Now, notice how it's all different in french, while in english, "we", "they" and both "you" are all the same. And notice how "you" is used twice, while in french, it's "tu" and "vous"
English is the easy language for n00bs. lolololol
No but seriously, I agree with coasterkrazy there. It's harder when it's your first language because you're actually, let's say, "mastering" it, but when it's your second/third/etc. language, you mostly learn the base of it. However, I also agree with lucas_irineu. Some languages seems harder to learn than others. Yeah...

English is one of the hardest languages to learn if you're an adult non-native speaker, mostly because we borrow words and other stupid **** from other languages, and force fit it into our own

I'm doing badly in Media Studies, because it's so easy that I'm too lazy to do any of the coursework. >_>
English is, allegedly, really hard to learn, simply because we have stupid pronunciation and grammar rules. I'm currently teaching myself Japanese out of various books, and it seems simpler on many levels, even though Eastern and Western languages are miles apart.

Biology. =/ My teacher constantly forces his godawful opinions on us and teaches us the same material day after day. We've been working on the population of animals/cells for quite some time now. =| Plus, the kids I have class with are really stupid. >_< I wonder how I got into such a dumb class, but I guess it was randomized..=/

Dutch is harder to learn than English. It is known in this country as being one of the hardest languages to learn.

Oh my god! The most pointless class I hate the most is GOVERNMENT!!!
Because I find it very useless in my life. I mean, I'm not going to be president or anything, why do I need to know the sixteen steps a bill takes to become a law? The only government-related thing I would need to know, is how to vote, but that's about it!

Math destroys me. I absolutely can not remember all the shyte they try to teach me. I only retain about half of it all.
Also, the sight-singing portion of my music theory class, since I never sang a day in my life. I think I've done... 2/10 assignments.

I have a class on racism that sucks pretty hardcore, then the other class that is killing me is programming in assembly language, gah its so confusing and retarded!

Math is usually easy for me, so scientific subjects are pretty easy. It's the classes that will never be used in real life that I have trouble with:
-Anything related to History
-British Literature II (Although now I know what Frankenstein's monster really looks like now.)
-Gym class
and Study Hall, I suck in Study Hall. I've got, like, no grades in that class.

Not really. Lets say you are swedish or japanese.
Both Portuguese and English are languages that have nothing to do with your first one. Portuguese would be way harder for one to learn. We have all this grammar shits that doesnt even exist in english.
Hahahaha that's what you think. I can point out at least 4 obscure grammatical errors within that single short post. In common speech, grammatical errors are often ignored because no one wants to bother with them. I don't know when, where or how you learned English, but you seem fluent enough that you make the usual grammar errors English-speaking people make when they speak. You're relating the English language to dialect, which is not the case when you learn a different languages. Different languages are almost all equally difficult to learn. I would say the only languages that might be harder for a Westerner to learn than others would be Eastern languages due to the fewer amount of cognates.
Oh, and so overall, yes, I agree with Cerebus and Drag. (By the way Cerebus, I don't think French is that much harder once you're used to it, though I'm probably going to lose all of mine because I'll never use it.)

Japanese makes WAY more sense then English

Ah but then again, I may find it somewhat harder because it is my first language. Because so far, english seems easier, but it would probably be the invert if english was my first language.

It only gets more fun once you hit trig/precalc (as in the real trig, not triangle crap) and all the fun-filled levels of calculus. But I know what you mean; algebra was a bitch for me in 9th grade because my teacher made the problems ridiculous. Even the algebra I have to use now for calc III isn't as bad.
If you haven't done geometry yet, though, be thankful you have that break of a year. Geometry is like... math applied to... not... math... kind of. It's usually much more focused on reasoning.

My favorite subject has to be History. Even languages are interesting to learn, I just never have the patience. Funny how I'll spend hours meticulously working on rm2k3 script, but I can't take 30 minutes to study. That's my downfall, I never study, but somehow I still manage to pass with decent grades. Maybe if I studied a little bit more I'd be valedictorian or something. *wishful thinking* :P

Politics I'm okay with, and I pay close attension to that stuff. It's just the government stuff, like how the senate works, qualifications to be in the house of representives, and all that jazz.

Now that's something I probably won't have much use of unless I become a rocket scientist.
Swedish and English is far too easy. I mean, I know swedish since birth, and I've understood and spoke english for about 10 years. At the moment; the level of english in my class is compared to what I knew 5 years back.
Things like:
"The love between the siblings were eternal"
"Our love is eternal. Said one of the siblings."
"Love is eternal. Said the other sibling"
It's pretty shitty, I more or less know it all by guts, I just can't explain why.

I heard english was one of the hardest languages to learn because of all of our crazy rules, and how we break all of them. I would like to learn Swedish though. I find the accent amusing... at least when it comes out of Yngwie's mouth. I took French and some Spanish (not sure why) and passed with good grades, so I don't think it'd be too hard to learn some other languages.
Anyways. I'm graduated now. I was never a big math fan though. I loved history, but I hated the class my teacher was a first class prick... soon, (if I get accepted) I'll be going to MI though, so my most dreaded class will shred improv... which isn't too bad.
