I hate to tell you this... But your van is sinking!

I started to learn to drive but I ran out of money. I wouldn't be able to afford the petrol anyway... It's really expensive over here.

My car is embarrassing... :-\ When I first got it, I was a little prick about driving safely and taking care of it. =X
So I'll just say I drive this (http://img85.imageshack.us/img85/1453/p1010699jk5.jpg) and it's because I'm a responsible guy. ;D

I drive nothing. I'm not ready to take the wheels. So I either use the bus, or simply walk.

I am not ashamed of it. -_-

Well, I don't drive anything right now, but I usually drive my dad's car when I'm at home, which is a Mercury Milan. I love it; it's such a nice car. He's going to buy it out and I'll probably buy it from him later on.

I drive a crappy 1989 Chevy Astro... White. Ugly. Brakes hardly work. But it gets the job done. Whatever that is.... Now that I think about it it actually looks a lot like yours lonewolf. Except white and not half-buried in sand.

I drive a tricycle. I fail at bicycles, and the red/yellow color on my trike is awesome.

Seriously, I ride my tricycle.

Is it bad I think it's fun as hell?

I drive this: http://www.noticiasautomotivas.com.br/imge/chevrolet-prisma-interpress-1.jpg
Or this: http://www.motorclube.com.br/images/wallpapers/c4pallas01_1280.jpg

Depends on my dads mood. Usually he'll let me drive the Prisma only, but I got my share of the C4 driving.

Well, I used to drive a shitty Grand Am... But now it looks like this.
Not the same car, just a pic. Right now I'm saving up for a '73 firebird.

I don't drive. I must be the only person who doesn't want to drive. Also, there's that whole "lack of faith in my own abilities" thing, and that "paranoia concerning the abilities of others" stuff.

I drive this:
'97 Dodge Stratus, 'cause it was 4 grand with under 50k miles and everything brand new.

(To be honest, I'm not actually "driving" it yet, I don't have my license, but soon.)

Well, you're not the only one apparently. I also have that lack of faith in my own abilities and that other thing. I prefer to take the bus, that way I'm sure I won't skip any stops, red light or whatever. I'll never be stuck at an intersection thinking "Should I let him pass, or go before" and all that. And the bus can take more than a car if someone doesn't know how to drive and hit it... and it also costs less than having my own car.

Sure, there's always that "waiting the bus at -30°C" and it doesn't always drop exactly where you want to, but I still prefer the bus over a car.

Me too, Archem. The only reason I tried to learn is that I thought I'd be disadvantaged in the future if I couldn't. I couldn't care less about cars and driving.

Oh, so I'm not special? Thanks for making me feel bad, guys.

Nah, but seriously. I tried to learn, and for the most part, I did, but I never got my license, so now I have to hear about it every day until I do something about that. The day I get it, I can't be annoyed by that, but it's not like I'll use it.

There is one good thing with not being able to drive; no one will asks you for a lift. Sure, you could always say no, but that would make you look cheap...

For now, I don't want a car. I'm too stressed and all, so I'm not ready to drive. I may change my mind someday, though... but for now, I'm pretty sure I would fail the test, so I don't plan on taking it any time soon.

I have no need to drive anything, since I live so close to anything important, and feel no need for driving anyway.

Is your house next to a nice motel? Are you neighbour of a "house of adul entertainment"? Then you'll feel the need of a car pretty soon boy.

Dammit, Al beat me to the chocobo...

Anyway, laws here in Sweden are a bit crapped so we are not allowed to take our license untill we're 18.

And I've driven a car sometimes with my dad(like, training) and really, I didn't quite get that kick everyone talks about. It was more like avoiding crazy people on the road while getting from point A to point B.

A chocobo on the other hand would've been awesome. No need to keep the foot on the brake then.

And on a second note: drivers' license isn't scuh a big deal for me, but my parents is on me over and over how it will benefit me once I'm looking for a job.

Eh, nothing yet. I haven't been able to keep a job long enough to get a license, due to school. However, I probably COULD have gotten a permit over the summer, but since I'm about to turn 18 anyway, I figured I'd wait.

El oh el.  I drive a 99' ford escort, a blue-ish color, and a victim of many hazy nights of substance abuse at remote farms out of town.  Transmission has been bad for more than 3 years, I have to shift into "L" on an automatic, to get up to about 20mph, then I can shift into Drive.  Can't change the fluid, even though it's black, or I'm told the thing would stop working completely.  Poor fella.

My previous car was a ..98? Chevy Corsica.  Bought it for $700.  Did some crazy crazy things to that car....mostly involving substance abuse.  Ended up selling it years, and 100,000 miles later, at a "Push, Pull, or Drag" sale.  Literally pushed it into the lot with my dad, got $500 for the thing.  Not bad, not bad at all.

Edit: and why?  I drive/drove them because I don't have the money to be going out and buying new cars.  I used to beat up kids in school who's parents bought them nice cars.  Hell, they wrecked them weeks later anyway, and then start cutting themselves when they had to get full time jobs to pay for their inability to stay on the road.

SOL is code for 'I ride the bus'.
