Title: Looking for a very in depth Pokepic or UnLZ-GBA tutorial.
Post by: Yellowvanblake on December 04, 2008, 05:18:26 AM
My nerdiness is now trying to extend into custom-Pokemon land; however, I am having a great deal of trouble with both Pokepic and UnLZ-GBA. If you can point me to a good, very in-depth tut; or if you yourself are a guru and are willing to help, please let me know. Thanks.

What are those programs used for anyway?

And I believe there was someone who coded every move and poké into an RPGMXP template and made working pokémon battles some while back. It might be more useful.

Yeah, for the longest time I never thought I would make more than 90. I guess I just don't have that much to say.

Anyway, sorry. To be more specific, PokePic and UnLZ are tools used to replace graphics in GBA read only memory dumps. Basically there's a bunch of game specific ROM editing tools specifically targeted towards the 3rd gen Pokemon games.

The only ones I'm having uncompromisable troubles with are the graphics-related ones (these two) but I've been looking at vid tuts on YouTube and nobody else seems to have this problem, so I probably just made a bad dump. I'll edit this if that's not the problem.
