I'm running a scan to catch some illusive Adware on my system. However, I have to wonder if it is worth the effort. Every time it creates a popup, I just have to laugh. Isn't adware supposed to create ads based on what you enter into search bars and junk? Because I could swear that nothing I have ever entered into a search bar would prove I may be interested in Flashingblinkylights.com, which apparently sells Neon signs or something.
If this is how the Adware works, I have to wonder if I should really pay any heed.
-
...So before you decided to charge head-long to find malware yourself, did you do one of those epic "I'm done running away" speeches to yourself in the mirror, or did you let that stay in the movies?
-
Flashingblinkylights.com
I have a new damn home page!
-
Malware has never been that cool with me. :(
Why did I HAVE to click on that fake Miley Cyrus video!?

WHy did you have to click on ANY Miley Cyrus video?
-
Yeah, man. Miley Cirus is pretty worthless.
As a musician Disney money-making scheme, she's a joke.
And if you mean what I think you mean by 'fake video'... She's not very attractive either.
Fail.
-
I had a three way with Miley Cyrus and Hannah Montana...
-
Eh, to each his own.
However, if I were you, I would have gone for her cute blond friend.

Well, it is now. Just shattered it to pieces about five minutes ago. I got bored of it. Take that, Virtumonde.

What's adware? Do you think I have any on my Mac?
No.
{laugh.}{Hah.}{Hoho.}

That would be because writing viruses and adware for a Mac is like beating up a guy in a wheelchair.
-
I know, right? It's just not fair to assault someone with a handicap! How can they fight back?
Shhotan!

*Bows down* My thoughts exactly.

*claps*

Why count out people with handicaps? I seem to recall one being president for eight years.
I guess I'm illiterate though, because I could have sworn this topic was about someone having a problem with Windows. Oddly enough, I never see topics with people having Mac problems, I wonder why that is? Not really, I don't wonder. Now please follow up this post with lame jokes derived from sterotypes and conceptions based upon those who have either not used a Mac in the last decade, or those who couldn't understand the simplicity and user friendlyness after only having used one for at most a few hours. Excuse me while I go download the beta for Windows 7.x, because I like to be acquainted with both sides before throwing my uneducated fanboyism at one side without so-much as glancing at the opposition. On that note, it's good to be back, my first semester was intense, sorry I didn't stop by more.
-
What.
To be honest I never used a mac before but I bet its better than windows.
Not you man, people just sometimes have a hard time excepting that something could potentially be better than what their used too, we call these people republicans usually. Just kidding. I'm burning off Windows 7 on a disk now, I think I'll start a topic, and post my results.
-
Windows 7.x
Usually when you perform comparisons, you should try to not be prejudiced.
Comparing Windows 7 to Mac is like comparing a Toaster to an Mp3 Player. It's pointless and only gives you inaccurate results.
-
I'm not comparing for anyone other than myself, I'm just posting my results regaurdless.
-

I still don't know why the hell he got chosen a second time. Are the people who chose him handicapped themselves?
*sees a flashback of two rednecks*
Redneck #1: Hey, durdur, you know
Redneck #2: Durdur, I know nothing
Redneck #1: Durdur, Iraq bastards
Redneck #2: Okay, vote for Bush, durdurdurrrr...
EDIT: I know it doesn't make sense and is hardly funny, but Bush Jr. being president for eight years is not something I can laugh aboot.
-
I can't laugh about it either
Instead, I cry

Lighten up. I, being not just an American, but also a Texan, have to hear all the world's stereotype-fulled bad jokes every day. You don't get offended, you get the joke. If you get offended, then it goes from joke to successful troll. Besides, going with Mac instantly opens you up to be made fun of, like being gay, or being a furry.
Something that my friends and I spend countless hours using against a particularly gay furry friend of ours.

What were you saying now?
-
I think he was making fun of you
I think
I couldn't really tell within his rantish thing
-
If I was making fun of him, I pulled a sneaky fast one so damn fast and sneaky that even I missed it!
