Hmm upon further inspection that seems to be wrong as RPG Maker 2003 has very few character graphics.

Is there a way to tell what graphics on this site are original? And how does one get permission to use them?

Just say "Sprites were created using the generators at charas-project.net"
That might work

Maybe, but when you put stuff on this site you're generally agreeing to let the masses use it for whatever they want. Besides, I doubt this guy will earn enough to be able to pay the creators of every single graphic a meaningful amount.

Normally I'd suggest that you make a donation to charas but I don't know whether the site actually needs money since the switch... I should ask Osmose.

Plus you can't sell anything related to RMPGmaker2003, XP or VX. becuse the're Ilegal programs. Now if you use gamemaker you may sell, with the premision of Yoyogames, games on thier site I think.
