I honestly feel a bit greedy making a request for my first post, but hopefully someone can help me out...
I found the perfect face set for a character in a game I'm working on, but I need it re-coloured.
Here's a link to the face set. Click (http://charas-project.net/resources_download.php?id=14875&file=resources%2FFacesets%2F10978_1095518420.jpg)
It doesn't seem to be RM2K3 compatible, but maybe I'm crazy. I need the brown coloured wolf on the bottom to be recoloured dark grey and white, as well has have blue eyes. I attempted to edit them in Gimp and was quite successful, but for some reason when I applied it to RM2K3, it lost a fair amount of it's colour and quality. I want the face set to match the sprite set I'm using, which brings me to my second request...
The second thing I need done should also be fairly simple. I need an addition sprite to go along with what I already have.
Link to original sprite: Click (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v244/drenrin2120/MainCharas_Timber.png)
Basically, I just need more of a variety of poses for the wolf, such as sitting, laying down/sleeping, etc. Edit: It seems this set isn't compatible with RM2K3. So I guess part of the edit would be to make it RM2K3 compatible...
If someone can do these things for me, then it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
4PB

I finished two faces, but I wanted to check with you. Is this shade fine?
-
That's actually pretty darn good! Thank you. The only thing I would change is make the light fur just a little lighter. I'd prefer it to be a nice clean white, but then there's the problem of the back ground. Also, blue eyes are a must. It'll be more noticeable I suppose on the other expressions, since the two you did the eyes are kind of small/squinted.
I really appreciate your help and I'm looking forward to the final edit!
Edit: I think realized why the face sets(including the recolour you made for me) don't work. They are saved as PNG files. If I convert it to JPG it works fine, but becomes ridiculously pixelated... Maybe computers hate me :yell:

PNGs do work, just not at that color depth. You need to set them to 256 colors, instead of 16 million.
-
Hmm...That makes sense. But...How to I change the colour depth?
-
Depends on the program you use to edit the image.
I use Paint Shop Pro with images, so it's just a simple Image->Color depth->256. But if you use photoshop or some other image editor, you should be able to look it up on google.
Love your avatar, by the way. ;)

Yeah, my avatar kicks *** and most people seem to agree. I was able to change the colours on the facesets myself, but I did a terrible job at it, so if someone is still up to finishing the job, then have at 'er. Also, I still need the sprite edits I mentioned before and made RM2K3 compatible.

I hope it's not too soon for this, but...
Bump.
:Plight:

I completely forgot about this. I'll have to finish them tomorrow.

Thank you, I appreciate it.
