Right. The obligatory "Forum Intro"...Here it goes.
Names Mike and I'm 21 years old. I've been making games off and on since I was in Highschool, now I'm starting to get more serious about it. I use RM2K3 most of the time, but I'll dabble in XP every now and again. I came here to learn more about game resources and such.
Besides making and playing games, I have two other passions. Music and Bikes. I've been playing guitar for nearly 10 years and teach private lessons. I also play a bunch of other instruments including bass, drums, harmonica, and piano. I can make some pretty rad midis, so the soundtracks in my games are usually unique. I also ride BMX bikes, and have been since I was a teenager. It's pretty self explanatory, I do tricks on a kids bike and have ended up in the hospital on more than one occasion.
That's about all I can think of for right now. I hope to contribute back to this community since it's given me so much.

By the way, you said somthing about having already made some games with Rm2k3, which ones? I might have played them but i'm not sure. I f I haven't maybe you could post some? Our games section hasn't had a finished game in a while.

Uuummm.....Wow. I can tell this is going to be a very interesting forum, much different than any of the others I frequent. Thanks for the...uh, "unique" welcome guys.
As for my games. There's no chance any of you have ever played 'em. I've never posted them online before. This is the first time I've come online for this kind of thing. Like I said I've been making them on and off. I've never had a complete game...Mostly just random ideas I never fully commited to. They usually had less than 2 hours of play. There was one that had about 5-6 hours of play though. It was called "Dragons Breath". Pretty stereotypical plot though...Main character's a soldier in an empire and has a best friend, M.C realizes the empire is whack, so tries to escape, emperor bad guy throws him into the ocean thinking he'll die, but he gets carried away to a far off land where he's rescued by the obligatory female character, he recalls his past, she decides to go with him, they go on a world adventure while on the run from the evil empire meeting new friends and the M.Cs best friend from the empire...I could go on, but it seems like a pretty standard plot. I worked pretty hard on that game...Too bad it was on my old laptop that got fried, so it's lost forever along with my other games :(
Right now I'm working on a game of the same name, but the plot is completely different, although it borrows aspects from the original. I'm mostly just gathering resources I need and thinking about the plot in my head. It's only got about 5 minutes of play right now. Basic plot is also kind of lame. M.C is taking university studies but has had a very rough time. He has no family supports and only has his female wolf companion that has been with him since she was a cub. He works as a ranch hand to earn money to pay for his schooling. I don't want to give too much away, so I'll leave it at that... If I ever get a couple hours of play out of it, I'll be sure to post it up.
