We have 44381 members, of which I bet 44311 never posted anything. Everyday at least one member comes in, registers, and never posts for ever.
Now, there has been a time when one would be jumped upon and have his throat sliced open for attaching a .bmp picture to the forums, because they took away precious precious memory. Well, thousands of incative accounts do not?
Can't we, like, set it so if a member never posts anything for a month, the acc is auto-deleted? (and I don't mean doesn't post after a month posting, I mean makes the account and never posts anything at all for a month.)

That would probably make it so that we don't have as much server problems

An account only uses, what, a handful of kilobytes of space? Given that it probably tallies up to a marginally significant amount, I don't think it's really fair to go deleting accounts. You never know who might come back unexpectedly.

He's talking about the accounts that have been here since 2005 that still have 0 posts, I think

But you never know.

$t3f@n_R! always has a chance of coming back...

Never.

Everyone is always so concerned about server space. Until the admins come down and say "oh snap guys, we're out of server space" I'm not going to be too worried about it. Alex himself never once cared about it, or at least never told us he cared.
