'Kay, I'm playing D&D 4th Ed. with some friends and I started putting some music during the sessions to make things cooler. So far I got WOW's OST, Guilty Gear's OST and Midnight Syndicate discography going on. But I need more epic battle songs, so I'm here to ask for suggestions.
I need themes for:
Villages
Forests
Caves
Terror stuff
Taverns
Huge scale battles
Danger
And anything you want to add...
Thanks in advance!

Go find Arcanum: of Steamworks and Magick Obscura's OST
It should be for distro for free somewhere
It's very good, trust me
It's mostly string quartet, you know...Violin, Viola, and Cello...but you know...it's very good
Now one of my favorite all time OST's
-
YES! I played Arcanum, the OST is really awesome! It rocks...I shall find it!
Thanks!

Your very welcome kind sir :)

Huge scale battles
Sift through a few of the songs on the Monster Hunter Soundtrack - Namely March of Heroes and Living Mountain of Sanctity (Paraphrased, mind you).
Also, obligatory 2nd Edition Nazi comment goes here.

You have GG and need epic battle themes? What the butt.
-
When I said epic I meant medieval sounding ones...
Thanks for the tip Dom.
I need non midi stuff, cause midi will sound dull. I really need terror stuff, cause the next adventure will be in Ravenloft...We might play after midnight, for disturbing their senses too hehehe...

You should look up "March of the Dead" by Danny Elfman (it was on Army of Darkness). Also, "A Night on Bald Mountain" by Modest Mussorgsky is an epic, creepy song (Leopold Stokowski's arrangement from Fantasia is my favourite).
You might also be interested in looking up some tracks from Heroes of Might and Magic III. Some of the town themes, especially the inferno and Necropolis themes are awesome.

Thanks a lot guys, those are awesome!
I need more themes for battles too...ones that keep the players tense all the time! They can be from games too, no prob with that!
-
Baldur's Gate 2 has a total of 12 battle themes, not including the boss' unique songs. I could send them to you, if you have no quarrel with less-than-legal means of doing so.

Shadow of the Colossus OST.

Oh. Legend of the Dragoon and Skies of Arcadia comes to mind.
