Title: Conficker Virus Threat on April 1st

Hey, just to give everyone a heads up about the upcoming virus threat. It is said to be planned to attack on April 1st ("April Fools") tomorrow.

On a side note, yeah, I've been hearing a lot about this at school. I don't expect it to be that big of a deal, maybe just a few comps at most.

While you're at it, I'm pretty sure it's Conficker, not Cornficker.

Although "Cornficker" is quite a bit funnier.

Actually, according to the creators, the virus will destroy all infect computers (DESTROY US ALL!) somehow. Anyhow, it's best to be prepared.

This is funny.

If it were that easy to threaten that many computers at once, then it would have been done much earlier. This is probably some prank by a Mac fetishist. Them and their "people don't feel like making viruses for Macs" bullshit.

But I am glad I have a Mac in this case. If it does happen, anyway. Even if it could infect Macs, mine is out being fixed right now, so... :P

So, has it done anything yet? Just to be safe, I got rid of all the anti-virus programs on my computer! Good thing too, the anti-virus and anti-adware had prevented me from seeing the best adds. Did you know I could download a popup blocker, from a popup! Now that is efficiency, and convenient.

Well ladies and gents, The conficker virus has done nohing as of April first but it did make the system for the whole school board i attend go down the drain. Basically it really bogs down the speed of your computer and such. Now according to Mircosoft as long as you have updated since February on your computer you will be absolutely fine. It was finding a fault in some of the PORT protocols which have been fixed. Now If you know the creaters, turn them in for a heft 250,000 USD reward from Microsoft. Hurrah!
