Hey Charas users I'm new to the site and I make my own games using game maker. I have a question for any of you that may know the answer as I have looked throughout the site and have found nothing about it. Alright then my question is if I make a sprite sheet from the charas generator character maker thing but I make a character that is totally unique and has not been seen in the gaming world before but it uses different portions from other characters and such so it looks nothing like the original charcters I took the parts from. In this case would that character still be copyrighted by those sprite makers? Is it offically mine then? Or is it still copyrighted by charas then because it was their generator? Please help I am confused!

As long as you don't make profit from it and release it as a freeware game or whatever, it's fine.
When making profit on a game, complex procedures and **** take place.
